So we can call this a failure of homeland security, the k1 visa process, and the question is, what is the driving force to turn someone from a well paid american to an islamic terrorist?

We may never know, and as much as his may upset many people... religion in the right hands can be extremely dangerous, and completely devoid of logic and reason.
