Well, you know damn well that I don't justify it. I'm a bigger critic of Obama's policies in the Middle East than you are. Just pointing out that all administrations fail when it comes to transparency.

He does want to destablize the Middle East, but not for the reason you are thinking.

Let me put it to you this way: If we are fighting a war against terrorism, why are we destabilizing secular governments who are anti-Islamic jihadists? If we are seriously fighting ISIS, then why aren't we getting on Turkey's ass for all the aid they are giving ISIS?

EDIT: He is using Islamic jihadists, yes, but for much larger ends.

I'm not defending anybody. ISIS is a rag tag bunch of thug terrorists with money that is going around taking over territory like any thug gang.

They're really not even a JV squad. Obama was being generous in his assessment in my view.

Today, Obama and the president of France have taken a formal alliance to work toward the destruction of ISIS. Russia however now has it's hands full with having one of its fighters shot down over Turkey. I think Putin is just going to also have to go all-in until this mess is cleaned up.

So Centcom may be altering reports to “cover” President Obama’s reference to ISIS as a jv team. Oh wait my bad, its proof that President Obama is “pressuring" Centcom to alter reports to cover his reference to ISIS as a jv team. How silly of me that I didn’t see that first. Cons, President Obama made that comment two years ago and it’s a non issue. I know your radio masters bring it up every day but did we invade a country based on that comment? Did we savage the intel community to cover up the president making that comment? No and no. And why is only Centcom altering their reports and not the other intel services? from Nobaddog's NYT link

Just so you know, the guys running the airstrikes are the ones accused of pressuring the analysts. Can any con here explain the big deal about the comment that makes it so easy for you to believe that reports (only from Centcom) are being altered because of that comment? Please try to limit your answers to things you can back up (or at least explain) because according to your usual level of proof we learned President Obama was born in Kenya, his BC a forgery and he’s a secret muslim terrorist. Thanks in advance.

I will agree with you on that. I think Obama has played an avoidance game of sorts with this thing and it's been allowed to fester into this.
