Obama actions shield most illegals from deportation even as courts stall amnesty

That wasn't what I was talking about. You are moving the goal posts. You said that you "stopping bull**** before it got started and turned into 30 pages of bashing Obama." I was simply saying that Obama doesn't get a pass. He is fair game. You are diverting again.

From me:

I have continuously held this belief and don't justify Bush's idiocy. Never have, never will. This is the second time this week you have made the assumption that I back Bush. That is a stupid assumption.

Every president is fair game, for not one has ever secured our border, singling out Obama is not helping. Do you know why neither party has secured our borders, nor ever will. If you want secure borders, it's not Obama you need to kick out of Washington, it's big money.

And I notice you ignored this.

Btw, there's nothing wrong with bashing Obama for not securing our borders, because he hasn't.

You missed the point of the OP or you are ignoring it.

I guess your best option for a candidate would be Trump. He IS big money so he doesn't need big money to bolster his wallet like Clinton. Fight fire with fire. He is for sealing the border. Sounds like he is your best option.

This is what makes me sick about stupid Americans that still can't figure out that there's a dimes thickness of difference between the two parties and how blind partisans on both the right and left are.

Reagan, Bush Also Acted Without Congress To Shield Immigrants From Deportation

Are either Bush or Reagan President right now? Or is Obama President? Who is the one that is supposed to be held accountable for it NOW? Bush? Reagan? Or Obama?

In this particular case it doesn't matter what past Presidents did. It matters what is happening NOW. Now if we were talking about a policy enacted by a past president that is affecting today then it would be a legitimate reason to bring up that past president. But in this particular instance we're talking about policies that Obama has put in place, not other Presidents. As such the focus should rightfully be on Obama and his policies. Which by the way is exactly what this thread is about.

big money and corporations? Yea. If you reduce the size and power of the federal government like we want to then you won't hafta worry about all that. But as long as its large and all powerful, yea large companies are going to come to them. The fed gov shouldnt be there for them to go to in the first place.

The Obama Administration has the highest deportation rate of illegals of any president in history. Barack Obama, deporter-in-chief | The Economist

Numbers that have been fudged by using data never before used by any other administration.

Deportation Numbers Unwrapped

The report also presents previously unpublished statistics disclosing the startlingly large number of cases on ICE’s post-final-order docket of aliens who have been ordered removed, but who remain living here in defiance of immigration enforcement. These “non-departed” illegal aliens are emblematic of the dysfunction in our immigration system, and must become a priority for enforcement before public trust in our system can be restored.

Of course, anything less than ripping apart practically every hispanic family in the country won't be good enough for the xenophobic right.

Faulty emotional appeals. Playing the Race Card. Misinformation. Why am I not surprised that these are being used? And in one sentence no less.

First, Hispanic families are not just torn apart. If the child was born in the US and as such are Citizens of the US the family is given the options of taking the child with them, leaving the child with family members that are in the US legally, or giving the children up to the State to take care of. If the children are not citizens they are deported with the family. And really, it is their own fault for breaking the law. Tell me, do you have such sympathy for people that go to jail for committing any other crime and as a result their children are taken away?

Second, I don't know what you think the definition of "xenophobic" is but I can tell you right now that it is completely wrong. You see, those that are against illegal aliens are against ALL illegal aliens. Doesn't matter what race they are or what culture they have or what ethnicity they are. We want them ALL out. And 99% of us want legal immigration quite active and streamlined to make it easier for people to come to the US LEGALLY.

Citizens united. ;).

It's true, the numbers have been fudged, nevertheless, no administration has ever secured our borders, and none ever will. Want to bet?

Well of course when you change what we count as deportations to include those caught at the border you numbers are going to be greatly inflated. But hey let's not let facts into the conversation.

I bet they used the Enron accountants to come up with that.

So... what? Just give up? Don't even attempt to effect change? Should we also just give up on enforcing laws against murders? Thefts? Wonder what this country would be like if the Revolutionary War never happened because George Washington simply said "they'll never listen to us" and left it at that.

Sorry, not going to happen. You can give up if you wish. I won't.

You will have to accomplish the task of getting money out of Washington politics. Good luck. I believe the borders will remain open. Btw, unless you're voting for non establishment candidates, you're not fighting against porous borders. ;)
