So, he knew Paris was going to be hit and didn't warn anyone?

“In my book I predicted terrorism because I can feel it,” said Trump, who has made his billions developing casinos and hotels. “I can feel it like I feel a good location.”

I'm sure he can touch lead and turn it to gold and has a pocket cold fusion generator.

Trump not only warned of Osama Bin Laden a year before the Sept. 11 attacks, describing him as a “shadowy figure," but he also predicted weapons of mass destruction would be used against an American city and advised the U.S. government to infiltrate terrorist groups.

Yeah, because before 9/11/01 no one in the government had any idea who this Osama bin Laden guy was.

It should be pretty clear to everyone, not just the mouthbreathing knuckledraggers who've been with him all along, now that he's done his belt-buckle routine and these revelations of his super-duper powers that he's a certifiable megalomaniacal, narcissistic nutcase who shouldn't be allowed near sharp objects, any buttons, playgrounds, schools and absolutely not the leader of any level of government.

I think I understand how he feels and do not believe that that is the way a President should feel.

What is he a Jedi now?

Just more Trump being Trump, that people should be ignoring.

There is truth to what he says. Successful investors and venture capitalists make decisions based on analysis of the known facts, but in the end they go with a gut feeling. There is no reason that that wouldn't be a desirable trait in a President.

Nearly every decision is based on irrational compilation of facts. An the more you have dealt with a subject, the better is the chance that the compilation will be right. I wonder how much the man has dealt with Middle Eastern foreign policy, intelligence or Arab terrorism.

The 9/10 businesses who fail, failed because their gut feeling was wrong. We had a president that went with his gut, it didn't work out so well. Give me cold and calculating over gut feelings any day.

Most of the 9/10 new businesses that fail are due to following a dream without doing due diligence prior to opening the doors.

But I'm talking about investors and VC's. In the end it's an informed gut feeling decision.

I'm fine with a cold and calculating President. Unfortunately the current one is following a dream.

Like most successful businessmen, Trump's strong suit is the ability to hire the best people for the job and then let them do the job. If you can do that well, the job will get done.

Or to put it in Reaganese. If I can't sleep through cabinet meetings, I've hired the wrong people.

So you prefer ones who create their own self-aggrandizing myths?

From sad experience we know that there is every reason that that's not desirable in a President of the United States, at least. The previous "MBA president" who would run the country like a business (and who later annointed himself the "war president") was a total failure at both of those facets of his catastrophic time in office. If the American people fall for this vapid and utterly failed idea yet again they deserve all the pain it will bring them......again.

Did I say that?

No, I didn't.

Oh? Sounded like you were endorsing The Donald, or at least his character type. Who did you have in mind if not he?

That is true. I am not convinced, however.
