It's the Daily Express.

Must be taking a break from their usual headlines

"Princess Dianas body has been stolen by Space Paki's".

No doubt some IS and other extremists have made use of migrant routes to reach Europe.

But they are terrorists and their aim is to terrorize.

So why should we believe them?

I see those who can't argue the point or counter the point resort to shooting the messenger.

We're talking about hundreds of thousands of "refugees" in a mass exodus from Syria and the surrounding area as well as like numbers from Northern Africa entering Europe with little or no documentation and little or no security screening over close to two years now.

What kind of an idiot would say the ISIS claim couldn't possibly be true?

The Daily Express isn't a messenger, or news publication. Hype tabloid, sure. The number of times they revise their articles, or make corrections is countless.

The point of debate isn't so much the threat as the veracity of the claim. Taking the headline at face value, you really do have to consider the source.

They have performed better than most ever suspected. They have followed thru on their threats.

Daesh has more reach than many thought. Into Africa, AStan and martyrs/supporters throughout the EU.
They have access to hundreds of millions of dollars available to spend. So accessing illegal resources to gain entry of persons or weapons would and will not be difficult.

So yes, more attacks will be the result. Malls, Schools, other soft targets such as sports venues, mass slaughter will be the result.
The Daesh attack on the music venue, over a 1000 patrons inside and mostly trapped. It was over 2 ½ hrs for the Police to storm the building. Add in another dozen martyrs, well supplied with ammo, not hard to see none to a few survivors.

Now Libya, after Q was sent on a permanent vacation, weapons stores were pillaged. Estimates run as high as 20 K manpads missing. While these are older style compared to what is available now, they are more than suitable to shut down air traffic. AC take offs/landing these manpads are perfect for this.
Heathrow, Paris, Frankfurt airports, any or all would be perfect targets.
And then recall what happened after 911. Air movement shut down.

The subject of the OP is the passing on of IS's scary propaganda message, and those scared people who swallow it whole. The Express was a downmarket RW rag, then it was bought by a Larry Flint wannabe. It's not worth wrapping your fish and chips with.

There is no doubt there is a threat. I never discounted that. What I am discounting is the news source stating that, which has a history of being a hype tabloid to perpetuate fear, rather than report the facts. It's either the refugees, or ISIS, or the Romanians, or the ugly EU people "swamping the UK".

Pure fiction.

And the source is ISIS, not the publication that printed it, unless you want to go into conspiracy territory and claim the publication fabricated the entire story.

The simple fact that one of the Paris terrorists was carrying a Syrian passport and had been recorded as traveling from Turkey into Greece and then on to central Europe and one was carrying an Egyptian passport, travel arrangements yet unknown, should help indicate that ISIS is, indeed, smuggling sympathizers into Europe as part of the mass "refugee" migration from Syria, surrounding areas, and Northern Africa.

That's not really going to solve the problem. It's more humane to just eliminate Mosques, burkas, Islamic schools, and so on. Those effected can then move or return to an Islamic country or remain to become a free citizen. The Italians are on the right track. Italy moves to block 'anti-mosque' laws - Al Jazeera English

Why do you help IS by passing on their hyped up propaganda? Why spread the fear? What's it to you, safe behind the Atlantic? Are you voicing your fear that they might come for you?
There is a suspicion, BUT NO EVIDENCE YET, that they might be using the refugee crisis as cover. The irony is that those refugees are now coming under widespread suspicion because of the people who made them refugees.

If you do a quick search, there are enough headlines (starting at least in January 2015) indicating this is likely accurate. The January article was about ISIS members infiltrating Euroope to help other ISIS members get in.

If true, it could mean up to 400 of the 20,000 refugees Britain has promised to accept by 2020 have been radicalised.
