They wanted Reagan to take Gaddafi out then, and were opposed to his limited scope attack, so they denied their airspace as did Spain and Italy. Do you recall that the training excercise for the mission was in Canada? Do you also recall that the French led the NATO attack on Libya in 2011 that failed to follow the guidelines of UNSCR 1973?

I was unaware of all that. If I had time i would check it ou in depth. But the alligators lately are at my ass. Minor renos at the house.
