Trump Surges Among Likely Republican Primary Voters

Then you haven't been reading the forum lately. Yes, I support Trump for the nomination and the presidency. I especially want him as POTUS before the TPP is ratified. I'd like to see him renegotiate that as he would do it with America in mind, and not the "global community". Obama's skills in that arena are nonexistent.

I'm no supporter of TPP. Not sure that Trump would do it any differently, being a 1%er himself.

Hmmmm, the self-claimed moderates here are saying Trump's support is from the liberal and moderate wings of the party (they except themselves of course). And I disagree, the establishment GOP is used to calling the shots and being able to lie like rugs. They see that coming to an end. The very real possibility of accountability this time around scares the bejesus out of them.

I said the same thing for different reasons.

Trump surges among likely Republican primary voters: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters

Oh, my. "What a revoltin' development this is." God's Own Party is already in near total disarray with the thought of a hint of a Trump success and FarzNooze and the rest of the republican establishment has been in high freak mode ever since he got traction. He's already trolling the **** out of every other candidate (except Cruz who's been tiptoeing around so as not to offend the Donald, who, in turn promises to attack as soon as Cruz comes after which he predicts will have to happen soon) and becoming even a bigger clown in the process. This is more sordid than the creepiest episode of the Kardashians.

"Highlights" of the poll:

All that wasted effort around here by all the apologists for Carson defending all his lying.

Great update thanks.

The Sunday morning news talk shows should have new polls available on all the GOP candidates and then we can see who "won" and who "lost" the most recent debate.

I know Hillary is probably high five-ing the immigrant deportation issue -- a gift from unicorns for her.

This will certainly cost the GOP any Latino votes they might have gotten in the general election.

However for the Independents who agree with Trump this is more important than the Latino votes.

The Independents always decide who will become POTUS.

AND, once again, just as the press predictions on his other "meltdowns" that weren't, his poll numbers climb.

I thought Trump's debate performance was pretty good.

I think his tax plan is pretty good too, although Santorum's tax plan overall is the best with a 20% flat tax across the board for businesses, individuals, and cap gains.

Every candidate for that office is a 1%er. Each has more money at their command than we'll ever see in our lifetime. Trump is pro-America at every turn and a freakin' brilliant negotiator. Hell, that's how he became the very wealthy man he is.

Trump winning the GOP nomination would be just the perfect start of the cleansing enema that the GOP needs to purge the infection of right libertarianism and tea party craziness that have attempted to hijack the party. I welcome it and hope Trump triumphs at next summers convention. I suspect the spirit of Barry Goldwater also hopes for it since it will make his 64 effort look like victory in comparison to what awaits Trump a year from now.

I want the liberals to keep thinking that for as long as possible. Right up until they have to say, "OMG! It's President Trump!". :lamo

We'll be hoping that you're right if enough Americans pull the lever for him.

Yeah, there's always that. After all, so many were convinced Obama was the real deal.

I doubt it. Nobody does dirty politics like the GOP establishment. They'll dig up dirt on Trump even if they have to create it out of thin air (did you know john mccain had an out of wedlock affair AND fathered a black baby)

What crap....so you ignore all the dirty politics from the Democraps? No one does dirt, better than a liberal!

Trump says tough gun control laws in Paris contributed to tragedy...

BEAUMONT, Tex. -- Donald Trump says the tough gun control laws in Paris contributed to the high death toll during a series of terrorist attacks on Friday. The attacks, he added, also reveal the danger in allowing Syrian refugees into the country.

"You can say what you want, but if they had guns -- if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry -- it would have been a much, much different situation," Trump said to cheers during a political rally at an arena in southeast Texas on Saturday afternoon. "I hear it all the time, you know. You look at certain cities that have the highest violence, the highest problem with guns and shootings and killings -- Chicago is an example, toughest gun laws in the United States, nothing but problems. So our country better get smart because we're not smart right now."

Damn Straight!! Trump is absolutely correct!

Yeah, there's always that. After all, so many were convinced Obama was the real deal.

Voting for Bush once was one thing. Voting for Obama once was one thing. I don't understand the people that voted for either of them twice. This is a problem in America. And I really can't believe that there's even a conversation about another Bush or Clinton becoming our president. We have a very ****ed up electorate.

I think Trump might have more in common with the TEA Party than he does with the Republican establishment-type people.

Tonight's geriatric debate won't foster much confidence among Americans about this ISIS crisis.

I say give them notice that they have to leave and go through proper channels to be in this country, say 6 month to a year. Anyone that had a job and never took welfare goes on the fast track. Maybe even let them stay temporarily if they are good citizens. Criminals go to the back. If they don't comply, we just go down the list. Not rocket science.

So have 11 million people uproot their lives and then the government...which can't even launch a website is going to process millions of people for citizenship within a year.

...

Yeah.

You are going to have to give me a time stamp. I don't want to watch a five minute video when I don't know what you are referring to.

It is simple. It is Trump saying we have no choice but to deport illegal immigrants.

Well, you'll excuse me, I'm sure, if I don't just take your word for it.

Yeah.

Oh, who processes immigrants then? And they don't have to be processed within a year, it takes many years to become a citizen. I said that the illegals would have 6 months to a year to get their affairs in order, not become citizens.

They seemed quite capable of "uprooting" their lives from where they were legally, they can certainly do it from where they are illegally.

Sigh...when you guys are successful and it leads to a humanitarian disaster where tens of thousands of people are dying, I truly hope you remember your glib response.

Yeah...if only you could watch a video...that I posted...that would confirm it...

...

As I said...give me a time stamp of the pertinent part. Heck, I'm sure Trump says a lot of stuff in that video. Some of it is bound to be irrelevant. You tell me where to find the part that you find relevant.

The controlled media on TV keep saying he's finished but as long as he stays anti-illegal-alien, he's gonna be the man.

Yup. He'll be the man that loses in a landslide general election. GO TRUMP GO!
