Pittsburgh dentist Alfonso A. Costa pleaded guilty to a felony count of health care fraud after an FBI probe into his oral surgery practice found he had charged for procedures he never performed, according to court records.

Though the crime carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in federal prison, Costa was able to avoid prison time after Carson helped petition a federal judge for leniency.

That's different from the position Carson took in 2013 as he prepared to launch his presidential campaign, saying those convicted of health care fraud should go to prison for at least a decade and be forced to forfeit ``all of one's personal possessions.''

This is breathtaking hypocrisy and is a reminder that Carson's chief goal is to enrich himself by whatever means possible.

EVERY candidate will invite comparison both to the current occupant of the WH and their future opponents.

My party has spent the last 70 years putting up bad candidates and not making much effort in between the elections. As for the GOP...we can accept he is not going to be the GOP nominee...and gladly...I'll make the comparisons. But as I have said so many times...its not about Carson, just like it hasnt been about Obama. Its about the mindless Obots that lovingly supported everything Obama did (even when he was going out of his way to out Bush Bush) and now rush to smear Carson for the very things they excused with Obama. Its not the comparison or even the candidates that look stupid.

Contrasting is different than straight comparing, that's why it is a word. That is why we "Compare and Contrast" things rather than "Compare and... Compare"

I think Obama and Carson are nothing alike, in contrast to your initial argument that I am arguing they have something in common:
