DEA Chief agrees with FBI findings...ie Ferguson Effect is reponisible for violence.

DEA chief: Comey 'spot on' linking Ferguson impact to crime surge

Another Obama legacy. Obama's policies, leadership and corrupt partisan DOJ is responsible for the spike in violence in the US. I can proudly say I was smart and rational enough not to vote for that corrupt, race-baiting, sniveling SOB.

Well first off, OVERALL the crime rate is not going up, if you read the article you link it says as much. Several of the cities/towns that had violent protests have had spikes- but I'd opine more so from the police being a bit spiteful and not doing their duty, sort of a "PUCK YOU" to the cities in retaliation against the LOCAL administrations for daring to hold them accountable... :peace

You don't like the police? Fine. Your neighborhood can now police itself. Have fun with that. And if you're saying "**** the police" then what do you expect? These people that are police officers have no duty to go into neighborhoods where they are hunted and reviled to the point that they could be killed at any moment. They are not the military. If the neighborhood doesn't want them, they don't have to have them around. You Progressives are getting exactly what you want and deserve in many instances. These police are human, and deserve to be treated as such - Blue Lives Matter, too.

Thanks for proving my point!!!! :2wave:

You show how many hot headed, self important cops had a pity party and a PUCK YOU attitude when they were called to account for their actions.

Police are human and so are the citizens they come into contact with.... If the latter was better observed the former would follow.

FYI I do like many cops, I taught hundreds of excellent cops and a few real peckerheads.

Not just Obama, as other lefties like the mayor of Baltimore, and "black leaders" like sharpton have put us in this position, but the fact that our POTUS would do this speaks volumes about who he is.

When leftists vilify our police, they are directly contributing to crime, which hits poor minority neighborhoods the hardest. Its a sure way to make our neighborhoods look more like mogadishu.

Re: DEA Chief agrees with FBI findings...ie Ferguson Effect is reponisible for violen

I wonder if Rosenburg will get called into the principals office like Comey did. I can see a problem in the DOJ in the near future for Lynch and it will be named "truth".

Re: DEA Chief agrees with FBI findings...ie Ferguson Effect is reponisible for violen

I think that watching Beaudreaux completely prove notquiteright's point, all the while being completely oblivious to this fact, was far more interesting that the actual topic itself.
This was already entertaining. But for Beaudreaux to then make a graph about the point that he never understood to begin with... this is like better than SNL LOL...

Here's my favorite part (emphasis on part of it added by me):

Of the disagreement voiced by the White House, Rosenberg said: "The White House is a building, so I'm not sure what the White House thinks,'' Rosenberg said, adding that he believed Comey's remarks were "thoughtful and measured.''

"When you get criticized from the right and the left, you probably hit it just about perfectly,'' he said.

Would you like to direct your comments about me, to me?

It is impolite to make a post disagreeing with someone without linking the quote. I can only think of one reason you would do that. You don't want the confrontation with the person that you are posting about. That might indicate a motivation of fear or dishonesty. I don't care and only you know.

Beaudreaux understood it. I understood it. You missed it. Hmmm.

Maybe it was his way of letting the "White House" know that he really didn't give a rats ass what they thought.

LOL holding police accountable for their actions is not "vilifying police". Police are Govt. employees not gods and they must be responsible or pay the price like all of us should. Holding neighborhoods hostage is the way to make police look more like thugs. Is that your aim? That police should be thought of as thugs that you should be scared of? That sounds like the Nazi SS not police.

Ya think? You can tell he's a federal PFT employee that has risen through the ranks and not a SATPO appointee. Those bureaucrats can be a pain in the rear for politicians when the press asks a question, and they actually answer it.

I just felt that it was the best "self defeat without realization" I have ever witnessed in a debate setting and that notequiteright deserved props for initiating it.
I most definitely did not want a confrontation with Beaudreaux. There would be no point in it. I am not even interested in the topic.
I've never seen anything like this though, and thought it was great.

Comey and Rosenburg could feed off each other and become a real pain for Lynch. She could have herself a real war on two fronts. I am not sure she could handle that kind of publicity just before elections.

Lynch is a pit bull, but so are these guys. She's going to have trouble for sure if she tries to spin truth into bull**** for the Obama Administration with these two guys around. This could provide some actual entertainment.

One thing I learned in the Army, nobody can screw you like the people that work for you if you don't have your ducks in a row. I agree, it could be a hoot.

Strawman. Nobody is saying cops shouldn't be held accountable for their actions. But when a false narrative that white cops are out to kill blacks is presented as fact, and when political leaders pile on-you can't blame the police for falling back. And criminals are right there to move in-and thats whats happening now.

Re: DEA Chief agrees with FBI findings...ie Ferguson Effect is reponisible for violen

Wow. What a galactic miss.

Laughing, yeah a real fact filled rebuttal. Simply put you have nothing but anger and butt hurt feelings- like the others who rant, wail and whine about those mean ol' blacks.... :doh

Quite simply the police in a few areas are retaliating against their elected leadership by not doing their sworn duty. Some politically motivated wonks are attempting to lay that on others when the VAST MAJORITY of reporting municipalities report DECREASED crime. It seems only in areas where the police are being held accountable for their actions is there a 'problem'.

Now like I said I have trained hundreds of LEOs, I admire quite a few and have no use for several. That doesn't mean I hate cops- that is just one of several knee jerk slams those who can't bring facts to a discussion use.

I also love the 'life on the line' BS. Very true LEOs can face danger at any time, but if we look at statistics a logger has a 8.5X GREATER chance of not coming home each and everyday they go to work...

A rancher has double the chance- I don't dwell on that each time a cop gets hurt now do I??? Pilots 5Xs and roofers 4X's....

The trouble started when a very few number of cops got caught behaving very badly and their elected administration started looking into the actions rather than blindly siding with the cops.

About damned time... we shouldn't suffer the bad and taint the good just because a few right wing ranters attempt to blame everyone- ANYONE but the cop... :peace
