Official: Illinois Cop's Death Will Be Declared a Suicide - ABC News

Authorities will announce that a northern Illinois police officer whose shooting death led to a massive manhunt in September killed himself, an official briefed on the investigation told The Associated Press.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office has called a Wednesday news conference to announce the results of its investigation. The official spoke to the AP Tuesday night on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media.

The investigation into the death of Lt. Charles Joseph Gliniewicz determined that the Fox Lake officer died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, other media outlets reported Tuesday, all citing anonymous sources.

Apparently this officer was quite corrupt. I'm listening to a news conference in the background which is detailing the officer's corruption. It's unfortunate that Black Lives Matter was blamed from the onset.

Well since this sub forum gets more traffic Ill just post here. It's really disturbing he stole for 7 years spending 100K+ on adult websites and hookers, vacations, mortgage payments, and gym memberships.
