Vice President Joe Biden is nearing a decision on if he will enter the presidential race, which could come within 48 hours, two sources tells NBC News.Biden has been contemplating a presidential run for months and has delayed an announcement beyond supposed timeframes multiple times before. Missing this deadline, of course, could happen again.
In addition to when, the big unknown is what Biden’s decision will be: Is he in our is he out?
Biden’s public schedule gives little indication of his decision. He traveled from his home in Delaware to Washington Monday morning where he will address a climate change summit this afternoon.
If Biden does announce within the next two days, his decision would come before current front runner, Hillary Clinton, appears before the House committee charged with investigating the Benghazi attacks more than three years ago.
In a signal that he is considering running, Biden spoke with International Association of Fire Fighters President Harold Schaitberger for about 20 minutes on Friday. Biden said he was strongly considering running and was trying to gauge the support of unions, a source said.

We may find out in the next 48 hours if Uncle Joe is gonna jump in or not..

Would you vote for him if he did?

Most Dems will. The race up to this point is largely just waiting for an acceptable Not-Hillary capable of standing up to her political machine.

Oh look ! Another old white person to energize the Latino, black and young vote!!!!! LOL

I would as well if I was Dem.

How sad can it be for the GOP that the best they can do is pretend Biden is like Trump because they are bother old white people.... :doh

He needs to **** or get off the pot at this point.

To be embarrassingly truthful I kinda like ole Joe. I'm not a fan of his politics, and he has been an ass from time to time in the Senate, but he also knows how to cut a deal with the other side. Something his current boss couldn't give two ****s about.

Not surprisingly, you are wrong about that. Many in the GOP have a lot of respect for Joe Biden, even if we don't agree with his politics, and would probably cross party lines to vote for him in a race that put him against Trump or Carson.

Yeah, that's correct, cross party lines. Has that ever even entered your mind as something you could do? I know, it's a rhetorical question.

And your "race" is to find some reason to hope Hillary won't be the nominee. You are scared to death of her popularity especially when it will be Bush VS. Clinton. That is a no contest with that match up in the eyes of voters and you rightly know it.
PS. I doubt very much that Biden will run.

He could. I think I'd wait until Friday if I was old, white, possum-haired Joe. He's got nice teeth though, for a 72 year old. Wonder if they're real...

Was quoting and talking to Klattu. I have no doubt MILLIONS of Americans from GOP to INDY (the REAL prize in an election, they will decide this, not a few party line crossers) and of course the LIBs would MUCH rather vote for Biden than Carson or Trump... I think the GOP leadership fears this to the point they are playing up how late in the game, how strong Hillary looked in the debates, how well established her campaign machine is....

They fear Americans are far more sensible than the far right wing primary voters.... :peace

As do the Democrats that see Sanders as an actual contender, and it scares the heck out of them (not as much as Trump or Carson scare the GOP though, since there are a lot of Progressives that like Sanders' positions).

Truth be told, if it was Joe Vs. Trump? I'd vote for Joe and wear a pin telling everyone I saw.

With Hillary's big win in Las vegas I seriously doubt you'll see joe in this race. Ain't going to happen.

That's sad. I was really hoping he would, so I could have an alternative if the GOP doesn't start taking it's meds and come to it's senses. I can't vote for Hillary given what all's happened, and well... I will never vote to bring Communism Lite into our government. I could probably vote for Joe, if there were no alternatives on the GOP ticket that weren't bat **** crazy.

BTW - I didn't see it as a win for Hillary. Sanders did better than she did, and the other guys were just... well... not really there.

Bernie is a contender now, but that will never last. Howard Dean was a big contender in 2004...

I hope for his sake he is going to decline to enter. He hasn't built up enough institutional support or had time to establish a ground game. He's entering the starting point of states closing up for entrance in the race. He has missed the first of only six primary debates. Although he could conceivably appeal to portions of Webb's small base and could nab O' Malley's, Biden's primary supporters have largely found a home in Clinton. Clinton's great performance at the debate last week only solidified her position.

Here here. I would vote for a damn socialist before I'd vote for Trump, Fiorina, or Carson.

Hillary won because she attacted the Republicans, not her fellow Democracts. She brought up some things that were never asked such as Planned Parenhood, abortion.

I don't know. He has the Progressives wetting their underwear almost as much as Warren would.
I like Bernie, but he looks old and if eleccted he would be almost 74 when he took office.

I have to agree. He is way better than his competition.
