A Huge Overnight Increase in a Drug’s Price Raises Protests

But that's SOSHULIZM and thus ideologically unacceptable.
Many people with big business' dick in their mouths make that claim about a lot of **** that has nothing do with socialism. They go cough cough slurp praise be the market place, praise be Ronald Reagan, slurp slurp smack smack.

There is no difference between not giving the kid in Africa medicine because it is $1 a pill and not giving it to these people this pill. The same is true for food, water, refrigerators, water pumps etc, etc. The only difference is that you want to squawk in this case, because of your political opinion. That is dishonest.

That is another asinine comparison. A refrigerator is typically sold for the manufacturing costs plus a small profit margin. The same is true for water pumps, food, and water. No one bought up all the refrigerator manufacturers and bumped the price up 5000% overnight. If they did, everyone would be up in arms about that as well.

So you say it is only the price increase that upsets you and not the withholding of goods with dire consequences? It is okay to let the people starve and all, because they can pay your price, but not if this guy increases the price to one of your friends. And so that you do not look like a monster, you spin an emotionally complex yarn of good and evil. The usual thing, then.

What are you even talking about? I can confidently say I will never need that drug. I am not worried about it costing me anything. It would not matter how much they raised the price of it to, it would not impact me at all. I am concerned about those that would need it and how it is taking advantage of them.

Once again, because you have yet to answer it, why do you defend obvious price gouging? If raising the price of a generic overnight by 5000% is not price gouging, then what the hell is?
