Given the latest Quinnipiac word association results, it's only likely to get worse for Hillary and her polling numbers. Even though Biden hasn't announced, his numbers are nipping at her heels, if not passing her.

The distinct whiff of panic seems to have set in at camp Hillary and is emanating from it.

Now I imagine that she and they'll be throwing any manner of **** up against the wall to see what sticks, and that'll include the old baseless memes that did work once.

Doubtful they'll work again, as the old adage goes, 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me', so not confident that the electorate will go for this old **** being thrown at the wall by Hillary and campaign once again.

Seems to me that the electorate is 'taking' (or rather not supporting) her getting 'it'. Don't think it'll be productive for her to be pissed off at all the electorate, but she's free to do that if she wants to.

Hillary has a solid core in the Democrat Base that might stay with her (though I have predicted that, as soon as an acceptable alternative shows up, the majority will rapidly defect).

The longer Trump is around, the more likely we are to get a Democrat in the White House. Those who are enjoying Trump confound the GOP out of some sense that this is their punishment for ignoring their base are ignoring the fact that Trump is to the left of the GOP. Fund Planned Parenthood? Check. Government Control over Healthcare? Check. Amnesty? Check. Gun Control? Check. History of Supporting Democrats? Check. Trump is a bigger RINO than Chris Christie.

If Trump (and, I think this is incredibly unlikely to happen) wins the nomination, then that isn't the fault of the GOP establishment - who have their own faults for which they deserve to be ridiculed. It is the fault of low-information conservative voters being entertained by a reality tv star and confusing that with actual political heft or ideological concurrence. They're going to spend the next few years being shocked as their policy preferences get wrecked and ignored by the man whose cult of personality they chose to immaturely entertain.

You have candidates like Scott Walker who oppose abortion even to save the life of the mother. That means if your wife goes into labor, and the doctor expressly and clearly states that the baby is malformed and won't survive birth, and that trying to birth the child will kill the mother, if Scott Walker had his way, both your child AND your wife would die. That's one of the most extreme positions I can possibly imagine, so I think the comparison is pretty accurate.

It is a stretch but she is not that far off the mark. More importantly, it is politics 101 for Democrat strategy in handling social conservative Republicans. It would not be the first time that a Democrat baits a Republican into making comments on "women's issues." Personally, I think she is struggling to hold a campaign here and looking for a little controversy to help.

I do not think that today's lot of Republican hopefuls has the intention to give us the same brand of social conservatism that "terrorists" give us from their brand. That part was argumentative and inflammatory on her part. However, if it works all it will take is another Richard Mourdock comment on rape and God's gift. Or, a later Rick Santorum similar comment that seems to essentially agree with Mourdock. The usual response is not favorable, and that is backed up with both polling on how many identify as social conservative these days and the usual political response from Liberals and Independents to those sort of comments from social conservatism.

This is just a taste in my opinion of how ugly the 2016 campaign, and it will get far worse the moment social liberalism calls out social conservatism.

Yet, Hillary has them.....and donating the funds to her husbands Foundation. Which then she ups the ante with some play to pay while at State. Ensuring she can get monies funneled in from the Muslim Brotherhood and the other extremists. That new pal that the Demos have voting for them.
