Donald Trump is crushing everyone in New Hampshire [W: 353]

Donald Trump is crushing everyone in New Hampshire - Yahoo Finance

Real-estate magnate Donald Trump has opened up a 2-to-1 lead over his closest competition in the key, first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire, according to a new poll from Monmouth University released Tuesday.

Trump grabs 24% of the vote, compared with 12% for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Newcomer and Ohio Gov. John Kasich has already jumped into a third-place tie with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker at 7%.

The poll is evidence that the controversy that surrounded Trump last week — when he questioned Sen. John McCain's (R-Arizona) military record — has not hurt his standing with Granite State voters. The Monmouth poll was the first to be conducted in the state entirely after those comments.

So...at what point does the GOP start to worry? They thought Trump was just a "flash in the pan"....not a real candidate. They were wrong. Considering the sorry weak lot of candidates that they had, everyone should have seen this coming.

Trumps a CHUMP. He'll fall like he's risen.

...
It is entertaining to watch and clearly the media knows the IQ level of those they're pandering to.

The media always knows that. That's why Fox News exists.

I'm saying it's blatant, in your face.

No, it's not. In 2012 when Trump was screaming about Obama birth certificate most in the GOP said 'I don't know' when asked about what Trump was doing and where Obama was born. They loved that he was a thorn in Obama's side. Him and his birther BS was going to help the GOP win the WH. Well Trump is now a monster the GOP helped nurture who's come back to bite them in the ass.

But you just keep blaming the media and evil liberals for Trump's stupid statements and the GOP's having to deal with HIM.

Seeing the GOP squirm and not being able to control their monster they let loose is entertaining as hell for me.

Oh please, please, please don't throw our candidate in the briar patch!!

The GOP sabotage plan has already been hatched.
It was only going to be anti-Iran disruptions until these 3 PP videos showed up.
This is a huge loser for DEMs, and typically, they'll get destroyed as in 2013 with the preemptive and post-emptive strikes on the ACA roll-out.
As we saw with the GOP running hit ads early and often with Koch dark money.
So, I am one to foresee what GOPs will do and try to preempt them--unsuccessfully I might add as you see with the current GOP House and GOP Senate .

Go back through prior primary season in both parties... how many people who were leading 16 months before the election ended up on their party's ticket?

I guess that would rule out Bush or Walker also. They were #1 and 2 just a few weeks ago. The first poll I saw after Trump announced, Trump was 10th.

Since The Donald is a progressive liberal, a third party run for him would likely bleed off Hillary votes just as much if not more than Bush votes, as an example. And don't assume that The Donald would get the third party nomination - do you really think those who want to promote a third party option in the long run want Trump as their flag waver?

He could run as an independent, and not need any third party endorsement to get on the ballot. I think there is more than enough support for him to get on all 50 ballots. he could probably take votes away from both major party candidates, but I'm no so sure he could beat either. We still have a heck of a lot of straight ticket voters.

I personally believe that come the FOX News debate in August, the pretenders and contenders will make themselves known. Dems are deluding themselves if they think Trump can't beat Hillary. Trumps biggest hurdle is the GOP establishment, NOT Hillary.

You are probably right about that.

A monkey can beat Hillary in the general, frankly.

Tim-

I doubt that. Bill was and and still is quite popular. I have no reason to believe that people who supported him will not support Hillary. I didn't vote for Bill, I voted republican, but if it came down to Hillary and some terrible republican candidate, I might have to vote for Hillary.

I find it odd that many conservatives claim that Hillary is far left, and that many if not most liberals see Hillary as "too conservative". There's a disconnect there. Any time that two extremes don't like someone or something, then it must be a good person/thing.

Do it. Dooooo itttt. It'll be just like when y'all took down Obama in 2012 with Benghazi!

That was funny Red Crow! I wish I could get some titty. LOL!

You can!...Just see your nearest food stamp, disability, unemployment and welfare offices. LOL!

Just pick one, you will qualify for sure. :)))

I am a democrat, but let me ask. What if Trump toned down his rhetoric a little and started to develop an actual platform of how he would govern, what would that do to the rest of the republicans running against him? Would his numbers continue to go up or would they fall?

They would likely go up. I figure that Trump has already won the vote of those who desire that type of rhetoric, many if not most of those people are tea party types (although Trump is nowhere near a tea partier), now he just needs to win over the center.

I really really really don't agree with some of the stuff he has said, but if he were to come out with an economic plan that I like, he might end up with my vote. Of course just about any candidate, republican or democrat or third party would get my vote if they had a good economic plan.

Since you consider Trump a conservative, perhaps you can tell us some of Trump's conservative policies/positions. So far, all he's really talked about are illegal aliens and personally insulted John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Jeb Bush. Where's this right wing agenda?

John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Jeb Bush are not conservatives at all, by the standards of the far right. they are all three quite moderate, and are roughly as conservative as Hillary is. If they are claiming to be conservatives, Trump probably should have insulted them.

I support any government program about titties. But I'm sure you're just going for the old "all liberals are on welfare" straw man.

I never said that ALL LIBERALS ARE ON WELFARE, just the ones who are going to vote for more titty liberal government programs to continue.

Never put words on anybody's mouth comrade.

The more the merrier.

But don't kid yourself - if you think Donald Trump is going to throw his money - hundreds of $millions - into creating a new third party so he can have a vanity run, you're nuts.

What does he have to lose by doing so? Do you think that would take food off his plate? Egomaniacs care less about money than they do their egos. It's not that unusual for people to piss away large amounts of money just to prove a point.

Real news like Newsmax? FOXNews perhaps?

Things got a LOT better for me and the people I know. Sorry to hear you're still suffering. I hope things get better for you soon.

Maybe that was due to your governor. ;)

So, you are saying that the poll isn't statistically accurate? I'd say that both organizations have experience with statistical samples.

As for the liberals eating this up... well, yes. We just love when the GOP shows off its cast of clowns.

Trump is leading by more than the margin of error. the bottom six candidates are all within the margin of error.

I'm intrigued, should voters vote for what is in their interest?

Hillary's politics are actually the last thing that concerns me about her. It's her just oozing big fat lying sack of ****e, and elitism that really rubs me the wrong way!

You know, all the libs are just going crazy about Trump, as if they are in the cat bird's seat if he is the nominee. Yet, they seem completely unaware that their steamroller, Hillary, is probably the worst candidate of the entire bunch.

I think it is incredible that she, not Trump, is even in the running. Trump's numbers are going up. She, a lying sack of ****, disliked by all, corrupt, elitism at it's worst, is the bottom of the barrell.
They are in for a rude surprise.

The media always knows that. That's why Fox News exists.

Bret Baier's hour had three focuses--the PP videos, anything about HRC, and the Trump rape story--showing how Reince/Rupert/Roger/Rove are thinking .

For most of obama's lovers is all just about gimmy gimmy gimmy. :) that's self interest, they are all enjoying it and they want some more in the next election.

So, you do not vote in your own interest?
