Ex-U.S. Representative Grimm gets prison time for tax evasion | Reuters
How could people even vote for such a corrupt person? I've just watched the video on youtube where he threatened to kill a journalist after he questioned Grimm about his campaign finances. That's just insane. A former Marine and FBI agent acting like an ordinary thug. The most funny thing is that he won three terms before getting put into jail. I hope he will be jailed for long.

8 months was the sentence - a joke, well under sentencing guidelines.

Two comments:

- Despite his Germanic sounding surname, his mother's family name indicates her side is Sicilian from Palermo - and his viral video showing his gangster side very sadly re-enforces negative stereotypes that Italian-Americans (particularly Sicilian) were hoping had long since died-out.

- Eight months for twenty felony counts? Really? If I'm ever in trouble - I want HIS lawyer!
