I confess I'm unconcerned by that.

A certain someone's avatar seems to be pretty generally "okay" with violence.

Perhaps not, but they can make for a confrontation.

So far the Left has had a free ride through violence, intimidation, muckraking and so on, even against groups as harmless as The Tea Party. Now the 'Right' and the 'Middle' may be responding in kind, tired of all the leftist craziness destroying their country and its traditions. Look at those people who are standing with the bikers and that may give you an idea of what's really going on.

Flag burners get attacked by bikers

    Mob rule is unjustified.

However, I offer no sympathy and privately think you are perhaps a traitor. As such, The only flag that should be publicly burned is the Confederate flag.

I did not say no consequence, I said intimidation away from one's rights. Please read the post again. There is a difference no matter how much you put forth an argument to suspend one's rights when you do not like the message. All you have done is put forth a majority rules approach to when freedom of speech should be diminished.

As a matter of rights I understand. As a matter of concern I don't care.

I do, I see the quickest road to fascism. Where majority restricts the rights of a minority with what speech is no longer protected because of being offended by the message.

In a big rough country like the US there will always be a role for street justice.

Flag burners as many on the so called left have stated are idiots, but they are not breaking any laws.
Hogwash. Administrations and their policies are temporary. This country's flag has never represented any policy, but rather the United States itself and the principles it stands for, as expressed in our Constitution. About one million men have died defending those principles in this country's wars, and anyone who burns the flag might as well be spitting on their graves. Any person who would do that deserves the utter contempt of every true American.

The right of these curs to defile our flag was bought with the blood of men whose shoes they are not fit to shine. Of course they are not breaking any laws by doing that, because no law can prohibit speech protected by the First Amendment. But that does not make these people any less loathsome, any less disloyal, or any less deserving of getting their damned front teeth knocked out--or worse. I am never surprised to see collectivists leap to their defense, because they share their contempt of the United States. So does this Marxist president.

So freedom comes with certain do's and don'ts?
Myself I find flag burning to be offensive & disgusting , but to treat them with violence is more disgusting.
If my post offends you, I deeply Apple-O-Jize.
