No problem. I wish I was still down there, but sadly life has taken me out west.
Sound like my mom. She was born in Richmond, split time between Miami and Richmond growing up, mainly due to my grandmother's lifelong respiratory problems. Had a career as a flight attendant which took her all over the world, lived in many different places. Ended up in Seattle where she and my dad actually met on a blind date at a friend's backyard cookout. Anyway she hated Seattle and could not wait to get back in the South. My dad worked at Frederick & Nelson in Seattle until he got a job back east, in Charlotte. Mom and I were in Seattle for 2 years after that, trying to sell the house and move to North Carolina. My mom had apparently told dad that we could live within 100 miles of Asheboro NC because our horse at the time, Royal Baron, was gonna be in training with Claude Shiflet, who is now of course semi retired at 83 years of age. Anyway we moved to Charlotte in 1982, and since then I have split time between NC and VA. Richmond is my 2nd home and will one day be my permanent home.
