As a Disney fan I am happy that Disney joined the list of businesses and governments that are distancing themselves from the Confederate Flag.

I was also happy to learn that the Bill Cosby statue was removed from their Hollywood Studios theme park.

Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., has joined the list of businesses and governments distancing themselves from the Confederate flag.

The resort has removed a version of the Confederate banner from a flag display in Epcot's American Adventure. Disney acknowledged it took down the flag recently but would not comment further.

Walt Disney World officials also say a bronze statue of Bill Cosby was removed from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Hollywood Studios theme park after the park closed Tuesday night.

The removal of the statute at Disney's Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza came after court documents unsealed on Monday revealed that Cosby testified in 2005 that he'd obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women he wanted to have sex with.

Good morning Minnie!

The flag, which was among more than 40 displayed from throughout America's history, was the third flag of the Confederacy. The familiar "Southern Cross" symbol does not take up the entire banner as it does in the Confederate battle flag. Instead the blue cross with white stars on a red background is displayed in the upper-left-hand corner, bordered by a field of white with a thick, red stripe at the other end.

Then this I don't understand at all. But hey they're free to do whatever they want.

As far as Cosby, yeah I think he's toast.

I don't give anybody much credit for doing the right thing under intense pressure. Though I'm glad people are moving.

All things considered, especially because we are talking about Disney here, I am surprised they waited so long to remove the Confederate Flag.

As for Bill Cosby, he has no one to blame but himself. Another spectacular career destroyed in a haze of epic stupidity.

How politically correct of them! Yawn.

Hey, with Obama ascendent, perhaps you can get "Global Warming Deniers" arrested too! :)

Perhaps we can have oil drillers marked with a facial branding.

And then we can require all White people to cover and hide any of their pale skin.

And then we can have the school transcripts of teen girls who give birth marked with "Abortion Refuser"

And then we can have gun owners required to wear a Steel-Grey letter "G".

And then we can....

Can't you SEE what this is?!

I see it is Disney World.

The " happiest place " on Earth.

Where theme park goers are suppose to forget their cares and troubles ( and maybe even politics ) for a few brief hours or days.
