Did you mean people who criticize Bill Clinton for speaking engagements? Hillary is a candidate, not former POTUS. Why would anyone compare Hillary with GWB?

Bill Clinton's earned over $100 million in speaking engagements. I say good for him. Capitalism is awesome.

OK when Hillary or Bill charged that fee for the children's charity, what was the net positive for that charity that night?

    Greetings, justabubba.

He didn't keep the fee, nor did he charge traveling expenses. And he raised over a million dollars for them, for which they're very thankful. Nice day's work where I come from. And he met every plane carrying the dead and wounded that arrived back home, and the families appreciated that and thanked him. I don't know if Obama did the same for the Afghanistan casualties since he's been POTUS, but I hope he has. People lost their loved ones in both places!

And lest we forget: Hillary, Kerry, and many other prominent Democrats made impassioned speeches on the Senate floor in favor of going to war with Iraq, and voted to do so. I can post them if you like, since they all saw the same intel that Bush did in order to reach their decision. If you are suggesting the intel was faulty or incorrect, then blame the intel services, including the British ones, but not Bush. And we did kill Saddam Hussein in 2006 after we found him cowering in a hole, and the Iraqi people were very happy to see both he and his cruel sons gone, so some good came from that war, although the price we paid was high. Such is war! :

Maybe he turned around and gave that fee to the charity, in which case I would take back my criticism.
I could be wrong, but helping to raise dollars for veteran groups probably is the least he does for veterans.

Not what I said at all. There is a legal CONNECTION between Bill and Hillary that doesn't exist between Jeb and W. I made that point VERY clear and you still missed it. It's a simple and undeniable truth that you don't want to accept. So instead of addressingthe facts, you start making accusations and (probably intentionally) misinterpreting what I said.

Nope. I didnt criticize W here, dont really think I criticized Hillary about her price of speeches either. Just pointing out the clear hypocrisy and what its all about.

If the story is as reported, it's definitely not cool for Bush to charge the charity.

    From the OP

A spokesperson for former President Bill Clinton said he "has never received" a speaking fee for addressing a veterans' group. A spokesperson for former President Bush’s father, George Herbert Walker Bush, said it has been several years since the elder Bush had given a speech, but said that he did not recall a fee being requested for charity events.
