not going to help jeb's presidential effort
of course jeb is not helping himself, insisting we need to work longer hours

and a look at jeb's current campaign:

    Oh please.

    Desperate much?

The Homes for Hero's group didn't spend a dime. An individual paid the Bush's to appear. The donation total for that event showed it was a good move. All the two little hacks at ABC did was prove they aren't journalists. I guess at least they proved their Dog Whistle worked.

BTW, Jeb already got in front of the libby minions to clarify his comments.

you are one of those that believes it was appropriate for dubya to charge $100,000 to speak at a fundraiser to help the veterans injured during his wars of choice

hopefully, there will not be many of you who believe that was good form by bush

a spouse is fair game while a sibling is not
why does that seem a partisan position in this instance

yet another apologist who insists dubya was appropriate in charging $100,000 to speak before a charitable organization helping the troops injured in his wars of choice

Do you know what he did with the speaking fees?

You folks really do need to pick better hills to die on. The dog whistles you're barking to are getting really lame.

Contrary to the implications the hacks at ABC provided, the Homes for Heros group didn't pay a dime for Bush to speak there. They raised $1.5 million more than in the following year.

So it could be suggested that Bush alone was responsible for $1.4 million in donations. Go GWB!

According to the part buried deep down in the article, an anonymous donor paid the fee, so Bush didn't charge the charity anything. And again, do you know what he did with the fees? Did any of the hacks writing the story look into that angle?

    Non story justabubba.

you WISH this was a non-story

clearly, jeb's brother, the former president responsible for getting us involved in unnecessary wars that caused the injury to many of our nation's soldiers, found it acceptable to charge $100,000 to speak at an event intended to fundraise for those purple heart recipients

What did he do with the speaking fees? He laundered it through his charitable foundation to save on taxes and ensure he had a large slush fund to secretly make more money. Whoops, wrong former President.

In all seriousness, getting invited to speak at a charity event should never result in getting paid any more than traveling expenses.

How awful. He thinks people should make more money.

Obamacare (PPACA) mandated 29 hour work weeks? LMAO

    Greetings, ocean515.

Plus he refused his government pension. Did Bill Clinton do the same? Let's stop the Bush bashing - six years of covering your ass by blaming Bush for everything is more than enough!
