Video Shows Man Getting Punched by Cop After Resisting Arrest in Harlem

Kind of funny how that is just self serving nonsense. Most people these days support the idea that the government is the creator of rights, so if the government exists to protect rights then basically they exist for a reason they themselves made up. How is that not just talking in circles?

Still, there's a right time to resist or plead your case. That wasn't it. All the guy did was make people realize he's an idiot.

You mean after you are assaulted and you have no way to get yourself free. Yes, it makes sense to wait until you are at the enemies complete control to resist. I swear when I don't want to get robbed I just wait until I'm robbed to resist being robbed. That makes sense. Hey man, I bet rape victims should wait to resist until after they are raped to avoid being raped. I hear the best way to avoid something from happening to you is to not resist until after it happens. Yup.

Not much there to not understand. I was never consulted and thus was never given a chance to consent to anything. As it stands, I don't consent to most laws on the books, and I don't find it agreeable that the government can throw people in cages and make them their slave.

Are there any laws that you do consent to obey?

While some feel that way the purpose of a Constitutional Republic is to preserve the rights of the citizen, not to create them. We have seen the results of a society where adherence to the law is optional in places like Ferguson and Baltimore and the result is that some will choose to wantonly exert their "right" to loot and pillage without regard to the personal safety and property rights of others.

He served himself up on a silver platter when he resisted after the cop ask to frisk him. If he hadn't done that, the cop would have had no cause to arrest him, assuming he wasn't carrying an illegal weapon. He could have then enjoyed digesting his pizza and gone home in peace to take his medicine and then complained about stop-and-frisk at this convenience. I mean, what's wrong with writing a complaint letter to your councilman or sending a copy of the friend's video to a local news outlet? Like I said, he's an idiot.

I know for me I consent to be felt up random people all the time. I swear the last time I consented to being felt up by a random guy on the street because I might have had weapon that for some stupid ass reason was illegal I enjoyed it. I mean really, why would you not consent to a police officer carrying out a dumb ass law as checking if you have an illegal weapon. I swear, I totally do all the time because having an illegal weapon on my person probably means I'm robbing, raping or murdering someone. It probably doesn't just mean that some paranoid tyrant liberal douchebag passed a law because he is a paranoid tyrant liberal douchebag.

And why do people use the word "ask", when we all know it's a demand?

Well, you say it's a dumb-ass law, but what was dumb-ass was when you couldn't walk the streets of Harlem without the fear of getting mugged, raped, or murdered. I was there some years ago as part of a GrayLine Bus tour of Upper Manhattan. We enjoyed the ice cream we bought from a street vendor and felt completely at ease. There was a time when I wouldn't have ventured anywhere near the place. Presumably you would have liked it then.

Sounds like you have a death wish.

What do I have to live for after I'm locked away and in a cage with Bubba? Do slaves have some reason to want to stay alive?

... and shot him. :doh And did you notice what the female officer was doing? Pretty much nothing.

I think that female cop was doing the right thing...staying away from the guy while he was uncontrolled.

So who was the man hurting or even threatening to hurt by walking around with an illegal weapon? Or put in another way, who was he hurting by possessing a weapon? No offense man, but this is exactly why I don't consent to government. This is the kind of **** that just makes me say **** off.

If you don't want to be locked away then don't break any laws and make sure if you're in New York and a cop asks to frisk you that you don't resist.

I'm not going to consent to being felt up by a stranger, sorry.

What do you think happens when you get to jail? And it's not just the cops doing the feeling, either.

Didn't I already mention Bubba and Prison Guards? Wasn't it kind of obvious I was talking about being assaulted, raped and murdered?

In case you didn't know 50% of the sexual assaults are done by prison guards. Your state is so awesome at protecting people they are responsible for 50% of the rapes in prison. Guess what else? Prison Guards many times ensure that people are hurt by Bubba by purposely giving him victims he can abuse. If you take that into account the total number of sexual assaults prison guards are responsible for goes well into 70% range. Pretty cool, right? Hey man, you should consent to being a slave of the state. I hear they don't abuse you.

You're probably right. Where's this guy when you need him, though?

But, do we know if we have ''everything on camera"?

So you'd rather be strip-searched or raped in jail or prison than frisked with your clothes on? You do realize that when you break the law you've upped your odds of the former happening, right? I mean, whether you consent to the laws or not?

You do realize the government can arrest you for any reason they dream up, right?

And many times a rape victim is worse off if they resist, but I still recommend they do so. The same is true for government really.

I think it's kind of telling that when I say I don't consent to being assaulted the statist says I will be assaulted anyway and probably raped in their prison. Yes statists, the way you should defend the state is to support assault and then to support the state failing to protect inmates from rape. I swear you guys couldn't argue your position any worse.

Thats not true, at one point she touched the perps arm.
Yes here's where we have to pretend she wouldn't have had her ass handed to her. Women and men are the same you see.
