So you agree ISIS actions are illegal and against the will of the people and elected governments.
I agree those govt. and the people of the invaded countries need to do more.
Doesn't history show that in similar conflicts other nations have assisted?
What I think is that Saddam Hussein recognized the dangers of Islamic extremism, much like western leadership understands the dangers of Christian extremists. As a matter of fact, Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad all did, and contained it quite well. They have been removed however, a bipartisan effort between Obama and Bush, and the horrific result is unfolding before us. Years and years of failed USFP in the region is responsible for the rise of the Islamic State, not the ideology.
