Stop shaking like a leaf!!!!! Islamic extremist ideology is old, but Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad did a far better job at its containment then Bush or Obama, both of their policies giving the elbow room for the Islamic State to flourish. And our "ally" Saudi Arabia seems rather delighted with the development. Decades of ignorant USFP in the region has been disastrous. Why are you always interested in the cure, and never the prevention?
Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy

That is your opinion but as a pacifist I believe you ought to go over there and talk to the radicals. Prevention to a radical Muslim is convert or die. You have no understanding of the radical Muslims at all and when you do understand them it will be too late. Do you know what a Caliphate is?

    Speculation.

I doubt ISIS world domination is on the cards any time soon given they currently have a pretty hard time even holding on to small towns and villages against an inept Iraqi army that has considerable air support

If it was all the Talibans fault then where were the Afghani's in their number or do you seriously believe that the rag tag Taliban guerilla fighters financed some Saudi nationals to go attack the US ?

    Why ?
The fecal matter would really have hit the air moving device had the US invaded Saudi Arabia, wouldn't it? So, instead of attacking Al Qaeda, our brilliant leaders instead chose to attack a secular state in the name of fighting radical Islam.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?

You mean the CIA that Claimed Saddam Hussein's WMD program was a "Slam Dunk?"

You really are very nave and gullible believing what you want to believe but never looking at the big picture

Obama should return Iraq to the same way it was when he inherited it rather than leave all the problems for his successor.
