How long did your family members serve? And would they like to go back to Iraq? I am loathe to send a significant number of U.S. troops back into an area where we spent a decade - much of that training and equipping a police force to handle these issues on their own...only to see more than 50% of that equipment eventually get abandoned/captured by the new enemy. And that is not to mention, placing U.S. troops into a completely different country where a massive civil war is currently occurring.

In Fundamentalist Right Wing Conservative land, the US is supposed to be at war with the entire Middle East (and northern Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan if that's what it takes).

Oh, and America needs to lower its spending.

two tours by one and one by the other. Do you think the military equipment lost in Iraq would have happened had Obama negotiated a peace keeping force there?

What is it about liberalism that creates people who always judge others by their own standards and ignores that evil exists

No, America is responsible for protecting our own interests and it isn't in our interest to have ISIS stronger and growing.

Seriously?! Take a look at this:

The Terrorists Notches on Obama's Belt

After you read that article you should be able to hear faint reminiscences of George W Bush saying, "he can run but he can't hide".

    At what cost?

We lost almost 7000 Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan and spent somewhere around $5 Trillion, most under George Bush's watch, and we aren't any safer from "Evil ®"...

...today then we were a decade and a half ago.

If you don't have a better plan than "Well heck ol' hoss, we'll just defeat "Evil ®" wherever we find it" you can peddle that kind of idiot bull**** somewhere else.

And the end of the fight is a tombstone white with the name of the late deceased,
And the epitaph drear: “A Fool lies here who tried to hustle the East.”

Yes, you are right, political correctness cost us the lives and the trillions and always will. You fight wars to win not to be politically correct. It was the Bush surge that turned the tide and won the war, it was the Obama policies that lost the peace. Had we been proactive in prior to 2000 9/11 wouldn't have happened and we wouldn't have gone into Iraq in the first place. The problem with people like you is you always react mostly negatively instead of being proactive and preventing attacks on this country. How is having ISIS getting stronger a good thing for this country?

    Yes, it is evil.

What Obama has done about it is exactly what the previous administration did about it, however, and that is to contribute to the situation that unleashed it. His was more a general encouragement rather than a direct invasion, but the removal of the strong-armed leaders of these primitive societies is what unleashes this crap. Bush toppled Hussein quite directly. Obama welcomed the Arab spring most naively. Both had the net result of removing the corks on the bottles of champagne that kept all this revolting bubbly from pouring out.
"you're better off on Stormfront discussing how evil brown men are taking innocent white flowers." Infinite Chaos
