    Yes it is.

Hussein had no WMD and was no threat they knew it well before 9/11 and publicly said so too

The Butler Report disagrees with you and other opinions but the reality now is this is history and you can continue to beat this dead horse until hell freezes over and nothing is going to change history. The question today is what does the world do about ISIS. Maybe we ought to wait until they take over your area and then free you again. Maybe this time we will get a little gratitude from you. Wonder how a female family member will look in a Burka

Which is, of course, why ISIS is trying to draw the US into the battle.

I'm not sure what the solution to ISIS is, or if there even is one. One thing for sure: If we do send troops into that area, we need to do it all the way, no holds barred, wipe ISIS and the other cockroaches from the face of the Earth, then go home. Anything else just plays into their hands.

We may think the Koran is nonsense, but they actually believe in the prophecies and are bent on seeing them fulfilled.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?

Doing nothing or complete termination with extreme predjudice might be the only options left ultimately and niether is a very attractive one. Thats GWBs legacy for future generations sadly. The human cost could run into tens of millions in the coming century.

Amazing how legacies change over time when reality sets in. How did the Iraq War affect you and your family? I had three family members there and not one of them today is an Obama supporter and none of them believe we shouldn't have gone into Iraq after being there and seeing what Saddam Hussein did. The reality is none of them felt we fought the war to win and that is their problem with bureaucrats running wars. So which is it fight or convert for you and your family?

Well it put my son in harms way as he fought Americas war of post 9/11 retribution with Iraqis round Basra with the Royal engineers. Does that count ?

You fought the war to get an inept president his second term. There were no other altruistic motives involved here

Well, the option of arguing over whether Obama or Bush is mostly to blame still remains, and seems popular with some of the people posting on this forum.
Can't we just turn Congress off and then turn it back on again?

Sure does, thank him for his service.

We fought the war because the world said Saddam Hussein had WMD and we know he has used them in the past. It really is too bad that people like you will never get it nor will you ever accept the fact that you could be wrong on any issue. You got your wish, we are out of Iraq and the world is safer, isn't it?? Not sure if you get the news in England but the reality is all of Iraq was under Iraqi control when Bush left office, Obama claimed we left a stable and independent Iraq, and ISIS was in control of nothing. Fast forward and the Middle East is exploding with ISIS. Thanks liberals and people like you for allowing this to happen and looking for a PC War. Your son was put into harm's way because of liberalism and the failure to fight the war to win. The cause was just and principled. Millions and millions of Muslims have been freed by Allied Troops but fighting a PC war lost the peace.

Not being American I have no political axe to grind here. Too many of your countrymen cannot distance themselves from petty domestic partisan bickering in order to see the real picture. This post Bush sh*tstorm is only going to get worse no matter what political hue the administration is in Washington
