We clearly have opposing views on a number of issues, but I do enjoy discussion. Never know what you may learn.

A clear example where we differ would be Bush going into Iraq. A massive strategic mistake.
In fact it was a Coalition who went into Iraq and which were led by the US. It was never a one man decision.

It was the same prior to WWII also.

People are simply afraid to act confront a threat, no matter how real it is. They hope that eventually the terrorists will come to their senses, feel common sense will prevail, will legitimize terrorist actions, give them what they want, hope they come to their senses, and eventually there will be peace and harmony. They are fools.

It is prophesied in the Quran that an army from the west will come and fight the caliphate at a certain mountain in Syria and they think that army is the US. So if the US sends troops into Syria and they fight ISIS near that mountain, then it will serve to prove ISIS and the Quran right and then millions more devout Muslims will run to their cause...and any Muslim who doesn't believe in the prophecy will be beheaded along with all the others that ISIS deems to be non believers.

I doubt the UN or any ally or country can be fooled, bullied or bribed into fighting another unwinnable war in the ME again. Besides, the US can't afford another invasion. We have a debt problem, remember?

Well the Koran is nonsense and only taken seriously by those who were brainwashed into it as soon as they could recognize human sounds. I don't believe the West should allow their foreign policy to be decided by backward desert dwellers from the seventh century.

A war in the ME is 'unwinnable'? Why would you say that?

Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread. I for one have had enough of GOP foolish foreign policies.

Because I don't think military might can stop ISIS's radical religious beliefs which is the motivation for their fighting.

There would have been no war had Bush not wished there to be one, so yes it was a one man decision

The world including your country said Saddam Hussein had WMD and Congress authorized it. You really are very nave about the American Constitution. History also isn't your friend.
