Emails reveal Obama staff knew of Clinton's private account in 2009 | Fox News
Top White House aides emailed Hillary Clinton on at least one of several private email accounts during her first year in office, suggesting President Obama's staff knew about the secretary's controversial email arrangement as early as 2009.

Clinton's chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, passed Clinton's private email address to David Axelrod, then a senior Obama adviser, in June 2009.

Weeks later, Axelrod sent a note of sympathy to the secretary after learning she had fallen and hurt herself.

If only she's have used official email addresses, none of this **** would be happening. But Hillary thinks she's above the government.....arrogant crook.

There is still some plausible deniability there for any particular individual. I email people at work all the time without consciously being aware of what their email address is. Outlook makes it really easy to do that. The odds of no senior person ever noticing are low but the odds of any individual person not noticing are high.

And I find it next to impossible to believe that IT issues, even an important one like this, would rise to the attention of the POTUS. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, certainly knew what she was doing and should be called on it.

Uhh isnt this kinda of a giant no duh moment? Im sure the white house and the state department communicated via email....

Axelrod, who has been quite adamant that he had absolutely no idea Clinton was using a private server, has no excuses. He emailed other people in the state department specifically asking for her address, and he was given it.

This email account usage wont go away because everyone involved is trying to lie, fib, and obfuscate the truth. The more information that comes out, the more it shows how deceitful these people are. Just be honest and say you used it like this so you could skirt record retention laws. Own it.

Good point about Axelrod. But I fear the voters aren't going to see this as important. I wish Bernie would draw more attention to her dishonesty but he doesn't campaign that way.

You don't think people will see this, really? Why do you think Bernie even has a chance so far? You think that's by accident?

Nixon thought he was too. You have to stop these people before they get elected and punish them like any small clerk, when they go bad.

Mornin Jog. :2wave: She definitely needs to be called out now with the discovery that she didn't send all the emails she had.

Well those in the Media need to put the pressure on BO and his Team. They should be asking BO what is his response to one of his people breaking WH policy. BO even admitted he emailed her, so he can't be that dense to not notice how The Russians and Chinese hacked into the State Dept and the WH.

But it's unclear whether the officials realized Clinton, now the leading Democratic presidential candidate, was running her email from a server located in her Chappaqua, New York, home — a potential security risk and violation of administration policy.

The White House counsel's office was not aware at the time Clinton was secretary of state that she relied solely on personal email and only found out as part of the congressional investigation into the 2012 Benghazi, Libya, attacks, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Once the State Department turned over some of her messages in connection with the Benghazi investigation after she left office, making it apparent she had not followed government guidance, the White House counsel's office asked the department to ensure that her email records were properly archived, according to the person, who spoke on a condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak on the record.....snip~

Maybe I have just become too cynical about the American voter.

Remember these are leftwing voters we're talking about. They have been diehard Hillary fans for years, a couple years ago a guy Bernie wouldn't have had a icicles chance in hell of getting any votes. I didn't say he'll win, but he's put a galactic size dent in her campaign. This is unheard of.

Mornin Brewer. :2wave: The MS Media should be drawing more attention to her dishonesty as well as that her private server was hacked. Not just by the Romanian Hacker. But by the Chinese and Russia.

Hillary needs to be asked if she is aware of the Hacks into the State Dept and WH. Then asked, and your private server was hacked, correct? Then you said you sent all your emails to the State Dept and now we find out that you didn't. That you withheld specific emails back that you had responded to. After telling all before the camera that you never responded to any of the Blumenthal emails.

Do you really expect the American people to turn a blind eye to you giving up a breach of National Security? Breaking WH policy and discussing classified information with Blumenthal. Lying to Federal Officials.

I think Petraeus should step and tell Hillary whats good for the goose is good for the gander.

Yep, that's for sure.
