If the presidency was a business, perhaps. And then Bush would have been fired long before he finished out his second term!

And you can't get any lower than a Bush I'm afraid. That's why the GOP keeps running them.

Yeah, that may be so. Depends on who writes the history, what version becomes "common knowledge".

I'm obviously conservative and I have no love for Reagan. I was an adult when he was POTUS, unlike so many who adore him, idolize him.

That's true. That sad fact doesn't make Obama any better though.

Don't forget that Obama can claim, "caught the most wanted terrorist in US history" as a tagline.

Thread after thread, post after post you are here supporting Obama. Please tell me what economic or foreign policy results have generated this support? What you and others continue to do is post support based upon feelings making this nothing more than an American Idol vote. Gruber defined people like you and really would like to understand your mindset and why such loyalty?

I ask because I grew up a liberal, voted Democrat for years until I realized that the principles upon which this country was built were being attacked and that fundamental change promised by previous liberals only led to a bigger, more massive, and costly American govt. along with an 18.2 trillion debt and the construction of the nanny state.

Speaking from the perspective of someone who voted for him twice, I can say Obama let a lot of his base down on certain things, but stepping back and looking at the big picture, he'll be "fine."
