It was an amazing escape though, and I'm blown away they pulled it off. It the female accomplice followed through on the getaway vehicle, they may have been on the run for a very long time.
I may not like or respect criminality, but there are times I'm fascinated by criminal ingenuity - I suppose that's why I like the show, 'Criminal Minds'!

If they were that clever they would have gotten a car and put some miles in their rearview mirror. Initially upon their escape there is some time before their pics are sprayed across the airwaves that would have given them some ability to travel in public unnoticed.
If the female prison worker hadn't backed out of the deal there is a good chance they would have still be out there far , far away.

We need to take more tools away from police officers. This militarization is getting out of control. Cops shouldnt even be carrying guns quite frankly. No one should.
