A certain number of people latch onto radical Islam because they are desperately looking for a cause. Once latched on, they become willing to engage in terrorism while having very little understanding of what they are committing terrorism for. The cause is not important, rather it is the sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves.

We have had a certain number of poorly educated radicals here. Most are converts. In past instances, they have evidently horribly mispelled arabic in their jihad threat letters, confused the Koran for the Hadith when quoting material, referred to Afghanistan was an Arab nation, and threatned to attack parts of Turkey during a police interrogation (got confused as to where Israel is on a map).

Jihaders can be divided into two general types:

    - The full Al Queda or ISIS trained, vetted and fully indoctrinated "A Team" professionals
    - "B-Team" amateurs spontaneoulsy responding to inter net calls for total jihad- against everything.

That's fine - but I just don't see it as an irrational jump to a conclusion. You require a DNA test on the duck to prove it's a duck - that's just fine.
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Just now we learn there was not 2 men, but one.. In fact the BBC is just now breaking some interesting news. The dead man is the owner of a delivery company. The man arrested for this attack, worked for this company and used the company´s truck to try to carry out this supposed attack. The words "local grievance" are already being used.

So how about we wait and see for the investigation to be ended first?

Some people also have an extremely difficult time grasping the concept of probability.

If the likelihood is 99.99999%, their agenda absolutely demands that they point out the .00001, and to be done with the inference that this actually represents some sort of reasonable likelihood rather than something incredibly remote they offered with full intent to obfuscate.

Very true, I once worked at a restaraunt and saw a loose CO2 bottle but a big hole in a wall (and that was a small one).

But, the jihaders would then need to run around knocking the heads off each cylinder individually with a sledge hammer, while keeping out of each others way, and staying out of the way of richoeting cylinders. As you said, definetly not the jihader "A- team".

No, I am real happy they are too stupid to be effective/efficient. They are just 2 steps smarter than Ahmed the dead terrorist but sadly their morality and views on society are those of utter intolerant morons.

Pete, we have the French Prime Minister stating they know who this Terrorist is. We have the French sending in their Anti terrorism team. They pretty much know now it is a terrorist attack.

MMC, the reason why these terrorists are so many is because they are outraged by the West's constant intervention in Muslim countries. There are many in Iraq and Syria that will oppose them if we leave them alone. In fact the reason an ISIS caliphate exists is because we invaded Iraq in the first place. By continuing our interventions over there we are playing into their hands.

Im far more honest than you are and your fanatical support for Isreal's evil persecution of a people who have no country.

Im pissed off because our government is playing into the terrorist's hands by their Mid East interventions thereby empowering them and instead of doing something concrete about it they practice fauxrage and nothing else.
