Hillary is a hawk, and in so many other ways, not a liberal progressive at all. She's got nothing for the party and nothing for America, and she just needs to be gone. With any luck, it will be Bill that derails her again, concerned that as president she just might have a greater legacy then himself.

they should change if it reflects genuine belief in the "rightness" of the position; through legitimate expereince, new knowledge, etc.
they should not change if simple for political expediency.

Popular opinion actually doesn't seem to be on Hillary's side on this issue. It's not just a question of opposing free trade because it polls well, because evidently, it doesn't.

Regardless, I don't really have faith in politicians to actually support anything unless it's politically expedient for them. Who really cares why politicians choose to support certain issues? The important part is whether or not they support the issue, and if deep down they disagree with what they're promoting, that's not going to matter in the long run because it results in that issue being advanced legislatively regardless.
Social democrat is no longer an accurate description of my views.

No, it indicates just that her views aren't stable and she runs for president's office without some economic model for the country to live with.
