Re: Cop Suspended After Arrests At Teen Pool Party
Hm. Between the ages of early childhood and actual adulthood, I can' think of a single time I smarted off to an adult.
Simple enough reason - I learned in early childhood that smarting off to adults results in mama's hand coming out of nowhere at approximately 90mph and wiping that smirk off your face hard enough to make you see stars. It's amazing how quickly one learns.
Now that I'm an adult, I can think of plenty of times when I've smarted off to my peers or (obviously jokingly) to my elders / superiors, but I can't think of a time when I've "sassed"/"smarted off" them, either. I suppose if you raise a child up right, he will continue in that path as an adult.
That's not the cop's job. And you are mighty presumptuous as to what the mama did and didn't teach. Do tell me how you NEVER smarted off to an adult ever... then listen to me be absolutely condescending to you by telling you how your mama didn't raise you right. The only difference is, I wouldn't mean it... because I'm not lying to myself about human nature.
