I've often had to remind people that these guys are hillbillies, not Lex Luthor.

Some of them may be Hillbillies, there are others among them that are pretty sharp and up on things (examine their successful social media campaign, and the military strategies that got them all those significant cities in Iraq and Syria).

As you'd figure, it's the sharp ones that are leading the Hillbillies, which can create great effect and impact.
