No surprise there.

Senate approves USA Freedom Act

The Senate overwhelmingly voted Tuesday to end the National Security Agency's controversial bulk collection of the phone data of millions of Americans who have no ties to terrorism. Senators by a 67 to 32 margin approved the USA Freedom Act, which was passed by the House last month. President Obama signed the bill Tuesday night. Three key sections of the Patriot Act anti-terrorism law that expired at midnight Sunday will now be restored and extended through 2019.

It is no surprise, and this new "Freedom Act" has **** to do with freedom.

another bill with a misleading name to pretend to rectify a previous bill with a misleading name.

^^

... while the people get screwed again ...
