This is good news for republicans. it won't be a simple primary for democrats. they are going to have to show how radical left they are to win the nomination and the
more bad publicity they have to beat each other up over the better off it will be.

the more that jump into the democratic primary the better off the republicans will be. since to win the democratic primary they are going to have to go so far left that
they will not be able to pull back to the middle.

Lol. In the meantime, the whole Republican Party is running for president.

Surely seems that way. To Ludin, I think this is good news for Democrats. They need fresh candidates too as alternatives to Hillary Clinton. It's still early. O'Malley sounds pretty exciting.

I'm sure Republican Senators are thrilled with what Rand Paul did tonight also.
Since so many of my GOP friends seem to post more about candidates running against Hillary than they do about their 19 clowns.

While GOP Senators accused Paul of putting the Nation at risk over the Patriot Act expiring just to raise campaign funds,
Paul accused his own GOP of hoping we'd have a terrorist attack while the Patriot Act has lapsed.

Let's have Paul and Sanders talk of their isolation as with the 1930s.
Or arming Vietnam against China as McCain wants to.
Or GOP boots on the ground in Iraq.

But you'll need outlets other than FOX or CNN--or the RNC will pull their GOP debates .
    You're Welcome .

I would rather have a diverse group of people than 1 really bad candidate such as Hillary.

There's a reason I stay out of what's so often lovingly called the Peoples Republic of Maryland

I'd love O'Malley to get into the race and beat up Clinton a bit. I'd be estatic if he won, but there's no chance of that. The man couldn't even give his own Lt. Govenor enough of a bump to beat out a Republican in a Democratic stronghold. O'Malley won't play nation wide hon

Well, thank goodness, then that I'm not a Republican and am therefore allowed to discuss the snoozefest that is, so far, Hillary Clinton's so-called "campaign."

As a citizen, I'd like to see every party field the very best candidates, and at this point in the 2016 race, there should be some competition so that we all can judge for ourselves. I'd therefore like the Democrats to have at least a couple of people willing to brave the "conventional wisdom" and de facto anointing of Hillary Clinton by tossing their hats in the ring. I'm glad O'Malley has.

Probably the reason I'm slightly more interested in O'Malley over Sanders (well also, Sanders is probably un-electable in the general election) still, that metric/DMAIC (think it's DMAIC, always get the different acronyms mixed up) approach sounds fairly interesting and be curious to see how it'd work out and/or how well he'd apply it.

Dunno there Fenton. I'm left with the overall impression that it was equal parts of federal government, Wall Street Banksters, and unscrupulous mortgage originators. But that's probably another thread.

Hillary needs a good portion of those kooks you refer too, and I'd say it's about half of the dem electorate right now, she can't move away from it, and that's a good thing.

    Tim-
I can subscribe to this Tim, as long as you add the unscrupulous mortgage originators.
