It is simple fact that Castro first nationalized all private foreign-owned companies in Cuba..... and then nationalized all remaining privately owned businesses not long after that.... yes, he even stole his own peoples property.

not every Socialist regime steals private property.. but Castro sure as hell did.

First of all, I'm not supporting the Castro dictatorship, or any of the things that you listed here. But I support Obama's decision on this, I think it will help, if so, what's the problem, if it makes matters worse, your next republican president can shut down our embassy again. And I see you didn't speak to the fact that every bit of the United States exists by conquest!!!

what or who you you support.. or why... is irrelevant to any of this.
the foundational history of the US has absolutely nothign to do with anything in this discussion... so why would I need to address it?

as Obama is extremely limited in what he can do on this front, so I don't have too many real problems so far....thankfully his pen and phone aren't as powerful as he thinks they are.
opening dialogue might be good at some point, but not until the Castros are dead and gone....it's a rather useless endeavor at this point in time.
personally, I think Obama knows this, but is using this is a sort of presidential legacy entry..... an easy "win" that doesn't have any meat to it.

I'm not bitching.. you're just overly defensive over Obama, like many other lefties, you just get mad when folks disagree with your messiah.
additionally, I don't bitch about everything Obama does.. not even about most of what he does.... not even half.

no beer for me, thanks... I drink scotch and smoke herb, like a real man should.

I'm very critical of Obama. Gitmo's still open, the lobbyists are increasing in DC, whistleblowers are prosecuted more aggressively by him then any previous president, he's violating sovereign nations regularly, picking fights with the Russians and the Chinese, has advanced ME policies that have been beneficial only to the Islamic State.............. The dudes not my messiah, he's just right on Cuba and you're ****ING WRONG ABOUT IT!

You're also wrong that I think Obama's messiah, couldn't concede that either though.

You're right. Our government doesn't care how murderous a regime is... as long as it supports our corporate interests.
