Why do you hate America? You certainly hate the constitution being that its a massive obstacle to your torturous utopia.

I don't hate America, I hate an America that has moved to far left from it's origins. An America without Liberals, progressives, socialist, communist/Libertarian leftist would be a great place. Rural America is the best I've ever lived in, Inner-city Urban is nothing but an intolerable hell hole.

Also, the prohibition in the Constitution is against Cruel and Unusual punishments. What that means depends on what one's views may be. The founding fathers did a lot of things modern, especially leftist, would be considered cruel. I consider an ineffective prison/punishment system to be cruel to the greatest number of people and thus any effective system, no matter how cruel to the individual criminal, would be less cruel over all.

It seems to me you love an America that doesn't exist and never has.

All from your POV, of course.

But with all respect, it would seem around a little over one half of your fellow Americans disagree, at least in terms of national election of the United States President.

I do wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of inner-city slums, though.

The police fired 137 bullets into the car (a bit excessive), so the claim is they don't know if the subjects died from those bullets or the one fired by the officer in question.

That's something extremely wrong with the society in which the penalty for reckless driving is death. That's so ridiculous and so weird that I can't believe it. People have every reason to fear police.

Where did "reckless driving" come in? They were being chased because the refused to pull over and let the cops arrest them. The cops were chasing them, and shooting at them, because they thought the people fleeing in the car had fired a gun.
