For a time being. But we'll inflate away the gain and since higher wages are not changing by the same level, the buying power of the individual will have decreased. Add to that the additional consumer costs which will be passed on by the business and purchasing power take a dive. We have a fiat system, everything can be accounted for over time, even increases in the minimum wage.

Guess we at an impasse as liberals like you don't seem to understand the term scapegoat. Conservatives accept personal responsibility and a scapegoat is blaming your own personal problems on someone else.

Conservatives haven't accepted responsibility since Feb. 2009.
This is when we leaned that "deficits really did matter", opposite of Cheney/Reagan.
When we found out we had an immigration problem--while ignoring immigrants who came in during Bush/Cheney.
When the complaining of welfare and food stamps began--once again ignoring what it was when Obama took over .

Deficits always matter but more so when the results don't justify them. Results are something you will never understand because you have such very low standards. We are 7 years into the Obama Administration and you are still blaming Bush/Cheney. Amazing how liberals never accept responsibility for anything.

Did the liberal Republican president, Bush, accept responsibility for his screw ups? No? Well, I guess you're right then.

Would you have preferred Gore or Kerry?

A Tweedledumocrat as opposed to a Tweedledeeblecan?

    Difficult decision, very difficult.

Chances are Kerry wouldn't have gotten us into a war in Iraq, but then, there's no way to know that for sure.

Kerry was one of the most liberal Senators in the Congress, wrong on just about every position IMO and thus no conservative from either party, and yes there are some conservatives left in the Democrat Party only you don't hear from them, that could ever vote for either Gore or Kerry. Most Conservatives are too smart to vote for a third party candidate who could never win knowing that their vote would be wasted assuring a liberal Democrat would win the election.

I always end up taking my food back when I get MD's and calling the manager from number on receipt and insisting upon a remake of the entire meal because always something is wrong be it stale 45 minute old fries, the order is wrong itself, the drink is wrong, the burger is burned and cold and was clearly sitting there for an hour or something else.

I always just prepare for a battle with the manager whenever I go to a Mcdonalds. The same is true of Wendy's. That's why those oldschool places are dying away, their service sucks and they serve stale and or cold food. The food isn't fresh.

I do think it has to do with the fact that their workers are basically slave labor working for nothing. Yet still that's not the customers fault.

A liberal is a liberal whether he has a D or an R after his name. Bush was no conservative.
