Actually I think it was supposed to be some sort of "peace summit" or negotiation about drug trade, and things went south unexpectedly.

Five clubs, all packing heat, having a summit in the middle of nowhere, meeting to hash-out their conflicts.

    I'm surprised this happened.

Biker violence used to be pretty popular years ago.

The Federal government used to spend allot of resources infiltrating their operations.

My guess is that THIS Federal government is using their resources on other things which allowed this to get out of hand.

Where was the ATF ? The Feds ?

Large scale Biker violence used to be a thing of the past because the FEDs infiltrated their gangs and charged them under the RICO statute.

Somehow I don't think the Federal government has a lot of clout in Texas. But the local government was well aware of the meeting days in advance.

Interesting how one restaurant can put an entire community in jeopardy. This entire ordeal might've been avoided if the restaurant had cooperated with the local police.

Even THIS is Obama's fault? lol

You people with ODS are so predictable, and pitiful.

BTW where is the outrage from the conservatives about this. If this was Baltimore or Detroit the cons would be foaming at the mouth mad.

Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said authorities had received threats against law enforcement "throughout the night" from biker groups and stood ready to confront any more violence resulting from Sunday's gunfire.

"We have a contingency plan to deal with those individuals if they try to cause trouble here," Swanton said at a news conference.
