It seems "International Law" only applies to Americans.

So we should just let ISIS continue to murder, rape and destroy while Russia and China play politics? **** that!

If you want to be a slave to China, Russia and/or the UN, go right ahead, son. Meanwhile, those of us who don't have our heads up our asses will be doing what needs to be done!

Hey, why stop there? Why not have a couple of commandos in every large town...for the same above reason?

What am I saying? Why doesn't the UN just create a special charter that allows America to bomb/shoot anyone or anything it wants to in any country it feels like? And this charter could allow the POTUS to lock up anyone he/she wants, for as long as he/she wants and without charge?

It would save time as we are heading in that direction anyway.

American foreign policy since 9/11 is little more then cowardice, stupidity and dishonor.
We were wondering when the "Poor Innocent ISIL Administrator" argument was gonna show up.
“In America we have a two-party system,” a Republican congressional staffer told a visiting group of Russian legislators. “There is the stupid party. And there is the evil party. I am proud to be a member of the stupid party. Periodically, the two parties get together and do something that is both stupid and evil. This is called: bipartisanship."

Why do you think that a commando on every corner is "inevitable"?

And what about killing this ISIS commander was cowardly, stupid, and dishonorable?

I don't foresee that the US will conduct raids like this more often - despite how professional American special forces are, there's always the possibility of a soldier getting killed or captured, and ISIS would gleefully execute an American prisoner of war if they got the chance.

Does anyone know what units were involved?

I heard a couple media peeps talk about it was Delta. So I was thinking SFOD-D 1st Operational/Rangers.

Which means what ground the Islamic State has taken. Makes it a Rogue State. Especially considering Assad cannot exercise any control over that Ground.

Wherein the UN Charter where does a Rogue State have any Rights?

Which is precisely what you do in regards to Russian violations of international law regarding Ukraine.

You can't have it both ways and as promised, I'll point out your hypocrisy on this whenever I see it.

Nothing. The ISIS commander was not a civilian under the Laws of War. Even as new details indicate that the raid was a capture raid, the ISIS commander was a legitimate military objective.
