Principal caught in back seat with teen, weed, shirt unbuttoned

This is no one's business but theirs as far as I am concerned.

Both are over 18 and pot should be legal.

Unless it can be proven she blackmailed the guy to fool around with her - then I don't really care what they did together and I think the matter should be dropped (but I realize most people are too uptight for that - and I do not care that marijuana is illegal).

No. She was in a position of authority over the student, and abused that authority. She should lose her job.

Two seperate issues are being conflated here.

One is whether the principal in question engaged in professional misconduct. If she did indeed engage in inappropriate behavior with a student then I would say yes. Such professional misconduct could indeed rightly get her fired from her job. But that is not a criminal matter.

The second issue is one of criminal law. Did she engage in criminal activity. If the student was an adult then having any form of sexual contact with him if it was consensual was not a crime. However there might be possible charges of public indecency and possession of controlled substances. That's for the investigation to reveal.

She did 2 things wrong....possessed pot (which should be legal), and got caught in a position she shouldn't have been in (principal with student). Legally they shouldn't be able to charge her for the sex act considering he's 18, but she needs to be removed from her job nonetheless.

Seems like simple research for the liberal academic position that young people today are more sexualized at a younger age and therefore require more in depth knowledge and training in safe sex practices. Or perhaps, this being an 18yr old student, it could simply be a graduate class or perhaps a year end, high school exit oral exam.

When someone is a professional, and yes we count Principal as a professional,
we expect some level of good judgment.
Principals make decisions every day that can affect the lives of their students.
Had the 18 year old not been one of her students, it would have still been poor judgment.
That the 18 year old was one of her students, could easily move this into criminal behavior.
There is something seriously messed up with the Principals risk/reward decision tree!

There is such a thing as public indecency.

Need pics of the principal in order to determine guilt.

I told you this **** isn't rare. The stuff in movies that's scripted isn't half as crazy as real life. Real life is way crazier and more unpredictable. It also goes to show it's the women that do this more than the men. We have a "Gladiator school culture" in the US where intellectualism is discouraged and the most base, most cretinous oversexed troubled types are sexed by the waiting harlots..errmmm teachers and admins.

Guarantee you this happens at a greater statistical rate than anyone likely imagines it to be
