Shot NYPD cop dies

I'm saying that by any measure such free and unmonitored access to firearms makes your society far less safe and that the police officer in the OP would doubtless be alive today were that not the case. Its not that difficult really

That is very simplistic and doesn't take many other factors into consideration.

Yes it is

The US has by far the highest number of police officers killed per capita than that of any other developed country.

And you can prove this how? Lots of police officers are killed in Europe as well. You need to get out a bit more.

Mexico has much more strict gun control laws than the US. Do you think Mexico is safer than the US?

I'd hardly call impoverished Mexico a developed country by whatever definition you would care to use

No just putting you in a corner because I'm betting you already know I'm right

You do realize that in Europe there are often quite a number of police officers killed in one day?

So other factors than the gun control legislation do play a role and your earlier posting was indeed simplistic?

Really ? And where would that be then ?

Talk to the French police about what happened in January. But there are quite a few other examples in other European countries too.

Absolute nonsense. I'm still waiting for your evidence of these daily multiple killings of European police

Of course the homicide rate in Switerland is much lower than in the US, contrary to the ludicrous claims that were made here.

Yes yes yes of course its not a weapon its just a 'tool' for moving little pieces of lead from place to place at very high velocity ! Unfortunately people just get in the way of them sometimes

I see you decided to not answer.

From your source:

Firearms-related fatalities spike 56 percent while ambushes remain the leading cause of felonious deaths

and even that spike is minimal compared to the civilian population.

What is your solution to our gun "problem"?

They never do.
