That still does not detract from the fact that firearms killings are massively higher per capita in Switzerland than the UK due to their easier access to them. How much better still would those Swiss homicide stats look were that not the case ?

Having visited Switzerland its a very affluent and law abiding place. Crime stats across the board are extremely low whereas the US has the highest criminal incarceration rates in the world

So basically if someone is killed with a knife you don't care about them or their family, only if it's a gun, in other words, the US is worse then Russia because our firearm homicide rate is higher but intentional homicide is three times higher in Russia....

This is how shallow anti gunners are.

I would happily take the thirteen factor risk of being shot in exchange for half the chance of actually being killed

Given you have a homicide rate that would shame many a banana republic and nearly three quarters of those involve a firearm you are hardly in a position to judge other countries. If you removed those firearms killings from your stats your homicide rates would be much in line with those of other developed nations

No our homicide rate would not shame a banana republic, there is few countries in South America outside of European protectorates with a homocide rate lower then ten. The US is 4.4 last I checked. My state is maybe 2. Which is not terribly bad. Our high rate of homicide comes from a cluster of really bad states (some of which resemble a banana republic really) with rates of 6 and 7, outside of the Deep South the rate is "high" if it pushes two.

So really you show lack of understanding outside of a few statistics you read out of some gu control groups press release

The US is 4.7 the average for most developed nations is around a quarter of that or less. Like I said if you took out the three quarters of your homicides comitted using firearms then your homicide rates would be somewhat similar. Its the easy access to guns that differentiates you from others and that makes your society that much more dangerous

Are you saying in England the murderer just has to work a bit harder?

What is England doing to reduce the murder by knives?

By all means voluntarily endanger yourself as much as you like, I'm sure every gun owner who has lost a relative to the gun he kept at home allegedly for defence has said the same as you.

Cop killing in the UK is rare. Here is the historic list so check for yourself

cop killing in England was rare before you all had a gunbangasm

No I'm saying that our murder rate is nearly five times lower than yours because of your easy access to firearms
