    No, it's indicative of a company that doesn't want to be involved with criminal proceedings. Imagine the bad PR that would result from them funding, say, the defense of a child molester. That would hurt the bottom line.

    I guess they figure if there is enough evidence to even merit being prosecuted that is enough that Gofundme doesn't want to touch it. They are a business and in the end they are going to do what they think is best for their bottom line.

    This is what the TOS says as far as unacceptable fundraisers

    Gofundme's TOS: pages that campaign in defense of formal charges or claims of heinous crimes, violent, hateful, sexual or discriminatory acts.
