A look at the six Baltimore police officers charged in the Gray case - The Washington Post
I wondered about this since the news media didn't say a thing about the race of the police officers all through this. If they were all white that would have been right up front in news accounts. The six officers accused in the death of Freddie Gray face a litany of charges that include second-degree depraved-heart murder, involuntary manslaughter, false imprisonment and misconduct in office.
The officers — three white, three African American — represent a broad spectrum of experience on Baltimore’s police force. Three of them joined the force three years ago. The driver, who faces the most serious charges, is African American and has been on the force since 1999.
Identity politics being all important to the media and to liberals in general, one wonders how this will change the dynamic.
