2 seperate rescues on Tuesday and today by the Nigerian military from the hands of Boko Haram. Unfortunately, none of them are from the group that sparked the useless hashtag campaign

From Tuesday:
Nigeria Claims It Freed 200 Girls Held by Terrorists

Nigerian military forces on Tuesday announced the rescue of 200 girls and 93 women from Sambisa Forest —but officials don't yet know whether the rescued captives are the specific girls taken by Boko Haram militants en masse from Chibok last year, a spokesman for the country's president said.

Nigeria Says It Rescued Another 'Large Group' From Boko Haram

Nigeria's military rescued another large group of women and girls who had been kidnapped by Boko Haram from the militant group's forest stronghold, a defense ministry spokesman told NBC News on Thursday.

But government spokesman Mike Omeri told NBC News earlier on Thursday that none of the girls found in Tuesday's rescue matched any of the 219 still missing from the Chibok kidnapping just over a year ago.

This is great news. I'd hate to think what shape these poor girls are in, being in the hands of horny Jihadist freaks for a year or more.

It is great news, despite some skepticism, and congratulations to France for involving themselves in this difficult situation. Perhaps that 'coalition of 60 countries' might also get themselves involved to help these people or are the democracies prepared to quietly accept another holocaust?

Nice to see some good news for a change.

If the government spokesman who talked to NBC News is correct and "none of the girls found in Tuesday's rescue matched any of the 219 still missing from the Chibok kidnapping just over a year ago," we're talking about over 400 girls kidnapped,,,that we know of.

And we don't know.

It does make one wonder just how many there actually are, doesn't it?
