Many Clinton charity donors also got State Department awards under Hillary | WashingtonExaminer.com News&utm_source=foxnews.com&utm_medium=feed#!

Twenty-two of the 37 corporations nominated for a prestigious State Department award — and six of the eight ultimate winners — while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State were also donors to the Clinton family foundation.
Each of the companies listed appear to have made at least a portion of their donations before 2013. However, the Clinton Foundation's vague listings prevent a more thorough review.
I hope she reported all this. I'm sure the vagueness of the records is an accident.

Foundations don't just raise money on their own. It takes a lot of work.

True, you need a large group of accounts to document every penny that goes in and out of the foundation and a whole other group of employees to ensure the documents has been shredded and hard drives sufficiently wiped.

I'm sure MSM will promptly ignore this, at best quickly report about it as they move onto the weather.

Mornin American. :2wave: They did but as usual there was some major errors.

Wait, the Clintons' organizations are re-filing at least five years'-worth of taxes because they failed to report tens of millions of dollars in donations from foreign governments? The Clintons' team has effectively responded by saying, "oops, our bad, but you guys only caught us in this 'mistake' because of how transparent we are." Go re-read the New York Times story above before you take that self-congratulation seriously. Especially this line: " Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors." Charity law experts say the Reuters-discovered 'errors' are not necessarily evidence of intentional wrongdoing, but call the situation "highly unusual:"

Some experts in charity law and taxes said it was not remarkable for a charity to refile an erroneous return once in a while, but for a large, global charity to refile three or four years in a row was highly unusual. "I've never seen amendment activity like that," said Bruce Hopkins, a Kansas City lawyer who has specialized in charity law for more than four decades, referring to the CHAI filings. Clinton stepped down from the foundation's board of directors this month but her husband, Bill Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, remain directors. The foundation said last week after Hillary Clinton became a candidate that it would continue to accept funding from foreign governments...Nick Merrill, Clinton's spokesman has declined to answer inquiries about the foundation and CHAI......snip~

when she is POTUSA, she will have access to a much bigger cookie jar....

Ummm what do you get if you receive this award? A trophy? Anything of actual substance?

That correlation was simply an amazing coincidence, as HRC will likely try to assure us. She has, of course, recently decided to officially remove herself from any role in running the Clinton Foundation fully expecting us to believe that funds going to something run by her husband and daughter could never influence her in any way. ;)

Mornin Ttwtt. :2wave: Amazing coincidence, highly unusual, its why already 67% of the country doesn't trust her.

But here we have solid proof that while the Clintons raked in millions from Russian interests for their foundation and themselves personally, a suspect transaction to cede a major stake in US uranium capacity to Vladimir Putin snaked its way into fruition, securing a key national security-related green light from Hillary's State Department along the way. Meanwhile, vows on transparency and ensuring Russian accountability were ignored and discarded by the Clintons -- with Hillary conducting all of her official business on a since-culled and -destroyed private email server (without any oversight) throughout, against every rule in the book. At a bare minimum, this entire imbroglio is a gleaming monument to the "appearance of impropriety." It very much looks like the Clintons enriched themselves by renting out US foreign policy. To wealthy Russians. On a matter of national security. And Hillary's campaign is responding by protesting that the Times hasn't established and connected each dot in the quid pro quo. This story alone could be enough to end a less powerful candidate's presidential campaign. As might this one, via Reuters:

Hillary Clinton's family's charities are refiling at least five annual tax returns after a Reuters review found errors in how they reported donations from governments, and said they may audit other Clinton Foundation returns in case of other errors. The foundation and its list of donors have been under intense scrutiny in recent weeks. Republican critics say the foundation makes Clinton, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, vulnerable to undue influence. Her campaign team calls these claims "absurd conspiracy theories." The charities' errors generally take the form of under-reporting or over-reporting, by millions of dollars, donations from foreign governments, or in other instances omitting to break out government donations entirely when reporting revenue, the charities confirmed to Reuters. The errors, which have not been previously reported, appear on the form 990s that all non-profit organizations must file annually with the Internal Revenue Service to maintain their tax-exempt status. A charity must show copies of the forms to anyone who wants to see them to understand how the charity raises and spends money. For three years in a row beginning in 2010, the Clinton Foundation reported to the IRS that it received zero in funds from foreign and U.S. governments, a dramatic fall-off from the tens of millions of dollars in foreign government contributions reported in preceding years. Those entries were errors, according to the foundation: several foreign governments continued to give tens of millions of dollars toward the foundation's work on climate change and economic development through this three-year period......snip~

How many of us here when seeing a story like this have a first thought of "It could very likely be true" instead of "There is no way she could be involved with this"?

After so many years of the same kind of stuff, it doesn't enter my head that she didn't do these kinds of things.

Seems that State was an arm of the Clinton foundation when Hillary was at it's helm.

Not supposed to work like that.

But I have no doubt that the newly confirmed AG will set things straight, investigate and bring the warranted charges.
(cough, cough) </sarcasm>

What I don't get is why there aren't any democrats announcing their candidacy? What are they afraid of, serious question? Hillary can't win a general election, no way. The longer they wait the worse off it will be for the dems. Hell I doubt Hillary can beat a first term democrats US senator at this point. I think secretly all dems have serious reservations about Hillary and that was before all this stuff came out.

Ex-Rhode Island Gov. Chafee Plans to Run for President.....

Former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee made the surprise announcement Thursday that he plans to run for the Democratic presidential nomination, and attacked front-runner Hillary Clinton as overly hawkish and unaccomplished as secretary of state. His pointed criticism of Mrs. Clinton is the harshest she has faced from fellow Democrats and suggests that she won't be able to simply skate through the Democratic primaries without challenge.

“The biggest question will be, ‘What exactly did you accomplish in your four years as secretary of state?’ ” he said in an interview. “There was a lot of dust in the air. Not many concrete accomplishments.” He also condemned her 2002 vote as a U.S. senator to authorize the Iraq war, reprising an attack that was used to devastating effect by Barack Obama when he ran against Mrs. Clinton for the 2008 presidential nomination.

“I don’t think we should have a president of the United States who voted for the huge mistake that is the Iraq war, and certainly we shouldn’t have a Democratic nominee who voted for the war,” he said. “It’s not a small mistake. It has ramifications that we live with today.”.....snip~

So, does Clinton’s email flap mean Democrats are lining up to challenge her? Well, sort of -- there’s some folks trying to motivate California Gov. Jerry Brown, Al Gore (I’m not kidding), Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and Vice President Joe Biden to consider 2016 runs. Yes, it’s quite the motley crew of people who’ve never been successful in mounting national campaigns for president and one senator who won because her state is insanely Democratic.....snip~

and she got beat by a newbie.
I would have bet money that Obama was no match for HRC, but as we now know, strange things can happen in politics.

This award is worth a ton of money to the CEO and the upper managers who wave the award at the stock holders when they are asking for raises and bonuses. They can't seal a million dollars from the company so they donate the million to the Clintons and get a nice big raise if they win this award so the company loses twice. I like Coke but they don't taste any better after the company gets this ass kissing award.
