Nah, 5 Repubs came out from the beginning and said they would accept the nomination. None took Bribes.....but like Cruz said. If the Repubs wanted to.....they could have tanked the confirmation.

Looks like some of those 10 Repubs that crossed over.....are doing that hope routine and with the Demos returning a favor. For some reason they believe the Demos will keep their word.

fyi - at no point did I call you a name, I said you look spiteful. Now for someone who came off in the second post declaring a black women without AA would be a waitress, we have all noted how wrong you are.

You should be ashamed by youR avatar that makes the first lady look like a monkey. I can't believe that is allowed here and will be complaining to the mods. I would hope the rest of those posters with a shred of decency would follow suit.
    Greetings, Enigma001.

How does that make her look like a monkey? You're seeing something I'm not.

Gonzales's tenure as U.S. Attorney General was marked by controversy regarding warrantless surveillance and the legal authorization of so-called "Enhanced interrogation techniques," generally acknowledged as constituting torture. Following bipartisan calls for his removal, Gonzales resigned from the office "in the best interests of the department," on August 27, 2007, effective September 17, 2007.[2] Democrats were particularly opposed to Gonzales for his role in the firings of several U.S. Attorneys which they believed had caused his office to become improperly politicized.

Wasn't Gonzales the First Hispanic Attorney General ? Wasn't it considered Historic too?

No, the burden is on you to prove your absurd assertions.

Obama didn't admit any such thing, your right wing bloggers fabricated that one.

Mornin Cresto. Hope things have been well with ya.

I thought it was considered Historic too. Wonder how many FOIA's he was holding off too.

So, we will have to go thru this all over again once we get an Asian AG, man and woman.....huh? Then an Indian AG, oh and course then the Ultimate AG. One that is a Muslim.

Should we get this over with quickly so that we can end all the Historic bs and then be left to focus on their records and not playing lapdog?

Hey, let's not give waitresses a bad name, at least they work hard.

"Lynch" is not an appropriate name for an atty. gen. and I don't care what race she is. If she ran for president and Obama was her VP is would be a "Lynch Obama" ticket. How many times would that show up on late night shows?

Sheesh, drivel like that is a terrible waste of valuable bandwidth. Must be a slow day on Stormfront....
