Was that suppose to be a display of that alleged smart power that you thought you had?
What he said was "Loretta's confirmation ensures we are BETTER POSITIONED.... "

I explained it. Quote me and tell me where I'm wrong. Or not. This is stupid semantics.

    1) Link?
    2) So what? Harvard doesn't admit people based on a formula. I don't know exactly what's involved, but I imagine it involves a review of the transcript, the college you attended, recommendations, essays, maybe an interview. If any white boy had lower LSATs and/or GPA than Ms. Lynch you've proved nothing at all.
    3) How do the legacy admissions stand up to your scrutiny?

And your slur was very broad - "another affirmative action poster child who has spend almost 40 years getting positions solely due to her race."

Forty years is a long time, covers her admission to Harvard college, and her entire career. You're damn good at insinuating stuff, but haven't provided anything of substance. At best you've demonstrated that on paper others had better records in college. Is it your view that a person's life is judged by their test scores and GPA in college? I look at her record and see an accomplished career. Other than she is black and accomplished, you have nothing informed to say about her or her career, how competently she did any job, or what her coworkers say about working with or for her.

You're holding a black woman to a standard you've NEVER used for any other white male political figure, and I imagine to a standard you never use in your professional life, unless you're an awfully shallow individual who doesn't associate with riff raff who didn't graduate from an elite school with superior grades. It's kind of amusing, but beneath you.

Loretta's Confirmation doesn't ensure we are better positioned.

The Confirmation ensures nothing of the sort nor to any part of his statement. I already did and now again.

You can't seriously be suggesting that the person with the most collegiate accolades is always the best pick for AG.
    sure he can
    and does

Not at all.....it is far too coincidental to believe that within hours after Limbaugh's show criticizing her nomination on affirmative action grounds that out of the blue a half dozen right-wingers on this site start criticizing her on affirmative action grounds. It was no coincidence despite your protestations. Sorry.

And for what reason would you say that Loretta Lynch wasn't a top prosecutor?

Lynch, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York—which prosecutes federal crimes in Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island—has overseen cases high-profile local cases that include those involving terrorists, gangsters, corrupt public officials, Wall Street scammers and human traffickers. Those prosecutions may be dissected during her upcoming U.S. Senate confirmation hearings.

    ...

Notable cases she’s overseen in her 30 years as a prosecutor include 7-Eleven owners who exploited undocumented immigrants, charging reputed mobsters allegedly involved in the infamous $6-million Lufthansa heist 35 years after the fact and al-Qaeda recruits from LI and beyond—those who plotted to blow up the Long Island Rail Road, subway and The Federal Reserve in New York City, one of Lynch’s prior employers.

She also oversaw prosecutions of four sitting elected lawmakers—three fellow Democrats and one GOP member—including U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm (R-Staten Island) and ex-New York State Senate Majority Leader John Sampson (D-Queens), who were both re-elected last week despite their pending trials. That’s in addition to securing multi-billion-dollar settlements from banks accused of malfeasance and being part of the team that prosecuted an ex-NYPD detective who sodomized Haitian immigrant Abner Louima with a broomstick in ’97.

You are looking foolish TD. Why is your "top" prosecutor the best pick ever and why is Loretta Lynch just some dumb ass who is only nominated cause she's a black female?

It doesn't? How do you know? Would the country be better positioned without an AG at all? Are you confident she'll do a worse job than Holder. If not, then her confirmation WILL better position the country to do those things!

That's not how it works.....are you saying if she wasn't confirmed that Holder would not remain as the AG?

So you never knew what the bottomline was in the first place? Now that is Hilarious.

Is there some kind of constitutional requirement for Holder to remain as AG until his successor is appointed? Huh.... didn't know that because it's not true.... Often there would be an 'acting' step up. So how do you know this 'acting' person would do a better job than Lynch? You have a crystal ball? Please tell me the price of AAPL in 12 months!
