I guess I meant banned but the point is the same. If you cannot associate with sinners, then what about adulterers? Liars? Pilferers?
Did the Pilferer Republicans try to buy booth space and were allowed to? What about the Adulterer Republicans?

It's going to be a problem for the GOP in 2016. Not just with gays but with younger women who are pro-abortion.

    See above... ^^^^
pro-abortion? There isn't that many people out there that are pro-abortion honestly. According to the numbers while there is more women than men on the extremes on the issue the amount of people on the extremes overall is small. Furthermore, democrats overestimate the importance of the abortion issue by assuming women in general vote based on the abortion stances of candidates.

Yeah, well so much for even trying to bring more diversity into the GOP tent.

I've been down this road a million times since the beating the GOP got in 2012. Obama was a not so popular president who was president during a weak economy, yet he easily defeated Romney. I've heard the excuses from Republicans on why Romney lost, so I'm not going to rehash that again. But as a Dem I am happy that many in the GOP believe they don't need the people who openly defy God, nor do they need the young women vote or Hispanics. You're just handing the WH to Hilary.

So the Republicans should have a big tent...but just don't let anyone with strong religious beliefs into it, because people are going to vote on abortion and gay rights and the religious people will wreck the Republicans' chances to grab those voters.

Yes, I'm sure the Republicans are really concerned about what a Democrat thinks they should do to be more effective against the Democrats. Romney sucked as a candidate which is why he lost. The Dems got their doors blown off in the mid terms, so you probably shouldn't be so quick to write the GOP's obituary. These things go in cycles. Always have and always will.

I do enjoy the logic. "You keep nominating non social conservatives, and they keep losing. Clearly what you need to do to win is nominate non social conservatives."
“In America we have a two-party system,” a Republican congressional staffer told a visiting group of Russian legislators. “There is the stupid party. And there is the evil party. I am proud to be a member of the stupid party. Periodically, the two parties get together and do something that is both stupid and evil. This is called: bipartisanship."

Start a thread here about taxation, or wealth and the conservatives will defend the wealthy and wealth, and criticize the poor. That's as certain as the sun rising tomorrow.

“If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me” (Matthew 19:21)

Jesus said over and over how hard it will be for anyone with wealth to enter the Kingdom of God.

Talk about defying the word of God.

The party in the WH always gets hammered in the mid-terms. See 1938. 1958. 2010 for real bloodbaths.

And BTW it was the Republicans study groups and advisers who after 2012 recommended the GOP become more diverse. WTF would the Dems care?

    No, not always.

What happened to the GOP's big tent? Any ideas on that?
Do you have any documentation that proves that the Western Conservative Summit is a GOP event? If not, you've got no point. It would be similar to Planned Parenthood baring Campaign Life from setting up a booth at an event they held.
A Canadian conservative is one who believes in limited government and that the government should stay out of our wallets and out of our bedrooms.
